Price Increases?

I have never booked this far out before (570 days). Since last Wednesday when booking opened for everyone our particular category has increased in price about $650. How long and how far do price increases typically go? Do they ever start to fall off the closer to the sailing date.

Disney Cruise Line adjusts their fares on almost a daily basis. It's very scientific, but hard to predict. They continually re-assess occupancies for each sailing and adjust pricing for each class accordingly. Sometimes they continue to increase, and once in a while they'll drop. But sometimes the drop may only be available for a day or two before they see a booking increase in that category.

Usually when a cruise goes up, it doesn't go down. But there are exceptions as Tom alluded to. Sometimes a category starts to fill quickly and Disney overestimates demand. They raise prices and bookings stop! So eventually they drop a little or offer some last minute fares. But it's rare that it happens that way!

If your prices go up, that's when you pat yourself on the back for booking early. :)

Agree, it also depends if all people paid the deposit and paid full.
because... sometimes; people take the rooms, make the reservation and then cancel on the day of the deposit.
