Not a joke… within the past few years. Possibly before Covid.I’m not sure if this was a joke or not but when did the dole whip come with a cherry an an umbrella?

Possible I guess. I never had a flat out Dole Whip. I always had a Dole Whip Float. I don't remember that happening with the float. Just the Whip and the Pineapple Juice. Not a joke… within the past few years. Possibly before Covid.
Maybe it was just the cherry at WDW and the cherry and umbrella at Disneyland? Either way they are all gone now! Haha.Possible I guess. I never had a flat out Dole Whip. I always had a Dole Whip Float. I don't remember that happening with the float. Just the Whip and the Pineapple Juice.
So are we expecting a price hike this Wednesday (10/16)? 1 Week delay due to Milton? Or do we think OP just got confused because DLR raised their prices?
WDW has, at least in recent times, raised food and beverage prices in October and November, and then raised ticket prices in February. An out-of-band ticket price increase would only affect new ticket and AP sales and not anyone already booked, so there's likely little incentive for TDO or Burbank to push for one. Maybe some sharp-pencil people think they need to inflate ticket prices at the start of their financial year instead of in February because forward-looking bookings are incredibly soft? I can't imagine an October ticket price increase, as narrow as its impact would be coming into the busiest time of the year for WDW, would be well-received from a publicity standpoint.
Probably not insider info and just a hunch because they raised them 10/11 last year, but who knows. Good going either way - better to do it now than get hit with an increaseThey raised prices last year in October, so I expect we'll see that again. In fact, Disneyland and Disney World raised prices pretty similarly across the board, in regards to tickets. We could be seeing a $150 increase to the Incredi-pass. I called this past weekend to upgrade tickets to APs and while I'm sure the person on the phone doesn't know what the plans are for ticket price increases, they did seem to let on that it was really smart for me to do it this week and not wait.
And empty parks and hotels. With higher pricing comes more magic!
Right?
I don't think there needs to be a WDW price increase this year. I think the Cake Bake Shop prices covered it.
There was no WDW ticket price increase in October 2023. Unless someone can look at this page and point it out to me:They raised prices last year in October, so I expect we'll see that again. Annual passes went up October 2023. Not sure about regular tickets, as I don't buy those. There was no WDW ticket price increase in October 2023. Unless someone can look at this page and point it out to me:
lol, I forgot about that brief period when they raised parking prices, but forgot to raise preferred parking prices correspondingly, temporarily accidentally lowering preferred parking upgrade prices for AP holders. They fixed that mistake really quickly!
Lol it's around like four DVC properties. That thangs gonna have lineslol, that restaurant is going fail so hard. It’s going to be fun to watch.
For a few months, sure. Then it’s going to fail harder than the galactic failcruiser. You think people who (usually incorrectly) try to save money by purchasing DVC are the target audience for a $26 per slice piece of cake?Lol it's around like four DVC properties. That thangs gonna have lines
I think people who are willing to take a mortgage for a vacation property may tend to also play it a bit fast and loose with credit cardsFor a few months, sure.
