That's not the case, sorry. All the fuges are exactly alike aside from ready room color and the length of the walk back to the post show (man if you get fuge green I think it is, the one to at the bottom right if you were looking at the building from above, the walk is so very long, but the music is good so it works out).

Maybe they could make Mission:SPACE like ToT with new versions enhanced effects and in ride options could be added for Mission:SPACE 2, 3, 4 etc.

That's the whole idea behind the joy sticks. Once they have enough technology to let people fly around, we will be able to fly over Mars.

The walk is about the same as it is from Fuge Red....It takes a good couple of minutes to walk down to the Post Show!!!

While the joysticks don't really cause much of a difference in the ride itself...I think small things do happen if lets say you don't pull to the left or right during the canyon scene...If I remember correctly one time while riding M:S there were only three people in the capsule and during the canyon scene we would scrape against the canyon wall for a longer period than when four people pulled to the left or right. I think that small effects like vibration are triggered by the joysticks. Don't really know...maybe I was seeing things.

We delibrately pushed the joysticks (all of em) in the opposite direction from that which Gary tells us to move them, and there was no change...

There are few ideas flying around here that I would like to clarify for some people :)

- The visual display is the same on all 4 ride bays, and the same on every ride.

- There are no different endings to the ride.

- The joystick does not influence the motion of the capsule or the video on screen, neither is it intended to do so in the future.

- The buttons if not pressed are over-ridden by the ride computer, and there are audio/lighting effects to signify that.

The interior detailing was done to take your mind off the fact that you are basically getting into a dumpster that is going to spin around at 32mph ;) LOL.

Apart from the fact that all the detailing adds to the realism and sets the ride apart from a lot of other attractions, there is alarge pycological aspect to it, which was researched at great length prior to building the ride. :)

"you sure know how to press my bottons"

I like how the bottons and switches make noises when you push them. Sometimes other tourists are hesitant to touch them. So when I ride single rider, I start flipping all the switches and pressing all the bottons as soon as I'm locked in. People must wonder what the heck I'm doing. :)

 Me too! The people in there get so freaked out, either that or theyre impressed because they think your actually doing something for the mission.

I don't think that people would be too upset if they failed the mission. After all, at Disney Quest, PotC is an attraction where you can lose.

I got to try that when I ride again, I can just imagine the look on people's faces......

...now if only I could figure out how I could get people to actually follow the colored lines on the floor to get in the pods....maybe I should shout "ATTENTION"....."FOWARD MARCH" or something :lookaroun

 :hammer:

LOL Maybe Disney could invent some Hologram line, thats right inline with your face as you walk towards the pod  Even then some people would still cross pods LOL

Talkin about the switches and all. I do it all the time. Ocassionally I'll get the:
"What are you doing?"

Me: "I'm entering a code to make the flight easier..."

"Really?"

Me: "Oh yeah, there's like four different codes that can effect what your flight is like"

"Well what are they?"

Me: :brick: I dont know if they are just playing along or not but one of the people I talked to was actually being serious about it...
