If you watch the video of this moment his children helped him decide. He was the VP at this point in time. Even world leaders visit the parks.
Great, now we will have to hear HIM complain about the condition the parks are in too!
OK, that was funny.
This should help:
"With the exception of Lyndon Baines Johnson, every U.S. President since Harry S. Truman has visited a Disney resort property at some point in their lives.
- Seven U.S. Presidents have held and attended events at WDW while in office:
- Richard Nixon – Disney’s Contemporary Resort (1973)
- Jimmy Carter – Magic Kingdom (1978)
- Ronald Reagan – Epcot (1983, 1985)
- George Herbert Walker Bush – Epcot (1990, 1991)
- Bill Clinton - Disney Institute (1996)
- George Walker Bush – Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (2003) and Disney’s Contemporary Resort (2006)
- Barack Obama - Disney's Contemporary Resort (2012)
- Four U.S. Presidents have been to a Walt Disney World park during their term in office:

I believe the monorail is unaffected. Will the normal monorail traffic/stops remain uninterrupted during his visit?
My wife got a text from some friends who are there today, and they said all transportation was stopped at the moment. I'm not sure to what extent they meant that though. I know that they have their own vehicle, so it makes me wonder if they were temporarily stopped from going anywhere.
Oh I totally agree, but with most things political, if you poke fun at the wrong side of the isle then you are labelled. Plus, there really should be no political commentary in this thread at all.
Is he there to promote tourism again? Did it help last time?
