Premium Annual Pass HELP

So we renewed our PAP about a week ago and today in the mail i got them. Greenish yellow hard cards. They say on them exchange certificate. So my question is, Our use year on last years ran out on feb 1st and we are not going down till march 20th this year so does this mean the new use year will be march 20th or will they date back to feb 1st? Also it says I need to bring my old ones with me well they went in the trash the day I orderd the new ones. Is this going to be a problem? They never told me on the phone I was going to need them:brick: :brick: Thanks for any help :sohappy:

The new policy states that your renewal Annual Passport becomes effective the day after your current Annual Passport Expires. Previously, if you renewed by mail, you received a voucher which was not activated until you were at the theme park and traded your voucher in for a new Annual Passport. Now your renewal voucher exchange will be back dated to the expiration date of the previous pass

I am not sure about the ones that went into the trash, but I would certainly call WDW Ticket info. The regular Disney number 1-407-W DISNEY was able to give me the direct number. They should be able to assist you. I would definitely bring multiple photo ID for all who have it!!!
As far as the date, that is easy, Your initial date of Feb 1 will ALWAYS be your renewal date regardless of when the next time you actually pick up your passes. If you arent going for a LONG time between the two, you may choose to let your old passes expire & then just buy new ones when you go again. You miss out on the renewal savings, but it may be worth it depending on the timing. Hope this helps!! Belle

Yes, they will be back dated, and don't worry you probally won't have a hassle when getting your new APs, just bring your Lic with you and it will be fine

Great thanks for the help...... I should have waited and just got them down there when I went. For some reason I thought it was like before that it was active the date you turned it in for the pass. I know its only a month an a half diffrence but our DVC points renew is feb 1st so it would be nice if this was later then that Oh well thanks again for the info
