Premier pass!

Hey guys!

Haven't been here in a while. Missed you all! Regardless, my absence from the forums hasn't represented my love of Disney, which has only grown. So I've decided to make a decision here and wanted to see if any of you have done the same so I could get your opinions.

So I live near Portland Oregon. But I still make the six hour flight to Disney World at least a couple times a year. But even just that small absence from Disney has proven to be too much to me, so I've decided to help fill the void by visiting Disneyland every two moths or so. Naturally, the most economically efficient idea is to go with the premier pass. To those of you who don't know, it's essentially an annual pass for both Disneyworld and Disneyland, plus a bunch of extras. Discounts and such.

So I want to ask. Does anybody else have this pass? Do you like it? Does anyone else Visit Disneyland frequently? I haven't been there in probably ten years. Do you think this is a worthy decision?

I have this pass. I live near DL and go nearly every week. I get free parking and a great discount on food and merchandise. anywhere from 15-20% depending on the place.

I get hotel discounts in WDW with it. That is the biggest benefit for me in WDW.

If you are going to go to WDW for more than 9 days and DL for more than 6 a year, the pass will definitely pay for itself.

Yeah that's what I figured. Is the resort discount only for disneyworld or does it work in Disneyland too?

Also, not to derail here. But how is Disneyland nowadays? I haven't been in probably ten years. Does it have the same magic as its big brother?

The resort discount works here too, I just don't utilize it because I live here.

I'm a big fan of DL. The 60th anniversary is going on right now, so new nighttime parade, new fireworks show, new effects added to rides, new World of Color etc. Come down and visit us sometime. Bring me a Voodoo Donut. :)

The resort merchandise discounts are different depending on the resort. Disneyland gives you 20% off merchandise whereas WDW gives you 10% off.
