Pregnant and Disney Cruise Line HELP!

We were planning on going on a Disney Cruise in September. I just found out I am pregnant :sohappy: and wondering if I can still go on a cruise at 30 weeks pregnant. What is Disney's policy? Has anyone been while pregnant? Any help and advice appreciated!

Well first - Congratulations!!!:sohappy:

Unfortunately you can not sail on Disney once you have entered your 24th week of pregnancy. In addition, infants younger than 12 weeks can not sail.

Maybe a trip to Disney World this time instead?:)

That's too bad! But, I can understand. Is there any word yet if they are doing the free dining in September? Maybe we could just do that instead with everyone....just maybe a little longer to make up for not doing the cruise.

If and when they announce the free dining, how fast does it take before value and moderate resorts sell out?

And, one other question.....does everyone in the party need to buy the same park ticket to get the free dining?

There are a lot of rumors swirling about free dining being announced soon, but there is nothing official yet. Send me an email if you'd like and I can keep you posted.

In the past when free dining was announced, the values seemed to go the quickest. If you weren't set on a certain date or resort, you could wait a little longer to decide.

Also in the past when free dining was offered, Disney Visa cardholders were able to book a few days before the general public.

Everyone in a room does have to have the same ticket. In the past you were able to buy 1 day tickets and still get free dining for the length of stay though.

So there is a certain number of "free dining" packages available for Value Resorts?

In the past Disney has released free dining for a certain number of rooms and room types at each resort. How many they released was presumably determined by how many vacancies they currently had.

If Disney announces free dining again, there is no guarantee that there will be rooms at every resort. There may be none, or very few, at resorts that are already fairly booked. Because the value resorts tend to fill up the quickest with or without a promotion, whatever rooms they do release there, tend to fill up quickly.:)

Oh ok.... You are handleing our reservation at POP (WDWMazprty is my husband) and I was wondering... if we are lucky enough to get the free dining; if we wanted to, could we get that and upgrade to deluxe and just pay the difference?
Also, even tho I'd hate to change resorts, but if we can't find the free dining at POP, could we change to another resort where we could get it? :lookaroun Does that make sense???? lol

Yup its me! :)
Like I said I'd hate to change resorts, but we'll have to see what happens when it comes out and what is offered. Maybe we could "upgrade" resorts and still be about the same $.... It could happen :D - heres to hoping!!! Would an upgrade in dining plan be an option?

In the past if you wanted the deluxe dining plan, you could pay the difference between the regular dining plan and the deluxe dining plan to upgrade.
