Pre-show and attraction film celebrities

Who has your favourite cameo role, or gives the best performance, in pre-show or attraction film footage?
For me, it has to be Michael 'Kramer' Richards as a caveman freaked out by fire in Future Word's Energy Adventure. Ellen de Generes is pretty spot on too - 'stupid Judy'. Bill Nye science guy is okay, and manages to whip the Larry Sanders dude he appears alongside in Dinosaur. It cracked me up when I first rode it and Phyliccia Rashad was in charge of my safety. I thought she just made sure her doctor husband didn't eat hogies with a blue cheese dressing upon returning from seeing one of 73 grandparents who are jazz musicians.
Gary Sinise in mission space does the trick. Perfect casting. He will always get a salute from me, the engineer in row two.
At what point do you think attraction celebrities need an update in a Captain Eo stylee. It's sad to think of Martin Short no longer looking at his grandparents (non-jazz musicians) in a ______, but how long will equally 80s Elizabeth Shue hang around while kids wonder who it is. Does it matter?
I sooooo used to love Robin Williams on the old animation tour:'It's like being in the presence of Barbara Streisand'.
Conversely, I'm not a fan of Eric Idle's performance in Honey at Epcot. I don't know why; I think his nostrils frighten me. And I find Jeremy Irons a bit embarassing in Timekeeper. But at least WDW doesn't have anything so embarassing as the unbearable talking heads in the line for Twister at Universal. Puke!

I know this isn't per-say a celebrity...but I LOVE the Muppets pre-show! My best friend and I are usually the only ones cracking up in the big room of people! We love all the corny jokes....and usually end up quoting them all day.

I also love the pre-show to the great movie ride...I know some don't but I am a classic movie lover, and enjoy watching the clips on a big screen...plus it makes the wait more bearable.

Watch Garny Sinise's eyes the next time you go on Mission Space. It's pretty clear he's ready a script as his eyes go from side to side.

I laughed immediately when I saw Patrick Warburton in the Soarin' preshow. I think he's funny in just about everything he does.

yeah! "It's a radio for talking to God"

My fave part in the muppets pre-show is when Gonzo tap dances, filmed - obviously - from the waist up. Genius!

There is Robin Williams, Jeremy Irons and Rhea Perlman in The Timekeeper. Irons is also the narrator on Spaceship Earth. Phylicia Rashad in DINOSAUR. Patrick Warburton in Soarin'. Jeffrey Jones was Chairman Clench in Alien Encounter. The real Rod Serling appears briefly in Tower of Terror. Aerosmith in Rock N' Roller Coaster. Eric Idle in Journey Into Imagination and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. Gary Sinise in Mission: SPACE. Thats all I can think of now.

John Michael Higgins, who played David Letterman in The Late Shift and currently plays attorney Wayne Jarvis on Arrested Development, is Bill from Test Track.

Cranium Command has great celebrities. I love Norm!! But, it does seem like they would have to update some of them eventually because the next generation doesn't know who they are. I miss Walter Kronkite's voice in SSE. That was him right? It's been a while. It just made the whole ride seem more important. But, you gotta love Putty and Lieutenant Dan.

Oh and for those who pay attention, the Muppets Pre-show is almost better than the 3D show. I love when Sam Eagle introduces Mickey Mouse and it's the rat in the Mickey outfit. Classic!
