Hey ,
Heres the situation...... I'm sick.. Iv'e been sick for the whole week now.... I can only miss so many days of school before they keep me back a whole year.... See... The school district here only allows 6 days out before you have to have summer school or another year of the same grade... Iv'e used all of them being sick... :( ............ I'm worried that I might have to stay back.... I mean I make decent grades... Give me a break and pray for me you guys... That would make me feel sooo much better.... ( Oh well....

You can't get days excused for medical reasons no matter what? That sucks. Back when I was in high school, you could only miss I think 15 all year, but if you were hospitalized or sick for an extended period of time those days wouldn't count.

I think here its 15 days missed and you can't attend summer school if you fail anything and maybe like 30 days before you have to stay back. I've missed about 18 days this year and believe me there are more to come! :D No worries though...I have strait A's...I mean as long as I do all my work and ace all tests or exams why worry about going to school!! To top it off I'm already accepted to Ringling...I know, I know they can change their minds...BUT my grade in both my art classes are both high A's/ For some reason I have the feeling those are the only classes they care about asside from the only two classes I need to graduate...English and Gym and I'm exused from one of those.....guess which one lol :D

Get well soon, Justin! Are you sure that you can't get an exception if you get a doctor to certify your illness? As Josh said, in his school district (the same as mine, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth!) you could only miss a certain number of days, but could have it waived with a physicians excuse.

Get well soon. I had a year when I was out a lot due to really bad allergies. I was lucky that they didn't have a policy like that (or if they did my mom took care of it for me).

Hey Justin,

I just read your note, so don't think that no one cares or will not pray for you. I know at least one who will do that right now.

Hang in there buddy. Hope and pray you feel better soon and that you have good health, attendance and grades the rest of the school year.
