I beleive that WDW has its own energy plant and that Walt originally wanted it to be nuclear. Does WDW still have an energy plant? If so does it provide all its energy needs? What does the plant burn, coal, gas or oil?

Check the date of the post before yours. We may have a new record.Disney uses a natural gas plant just north of MK, probably like 60% of their power. I know they did a bunch of solar but that's probably only a third and if it's not sunny, they are getting the rest from the public grid.
Florida has 2 nuclear plants so Disney is getting some of their power from that source when they use the public grid.
