Personally I don't like the shoulder restraints, little to claustrophobic for me and on most rides not needed by the pure physics of the ride. Not a deal breaker but I'm all for minimum restraints. I won't going on mission space any more, two rides were enough for me, on that my shoulders are touching on both sides, shoulder restraint over that then my knees are almost touching the dash board and on top of that the screen is like 18 inches from my face. To much going on restraint wise for me and it didn't help that the first time I went on it there was some sort of delay before the ride started. The thought went through my mind that I can't get out of this thing and there is no panic button to hit, not even sure they can hear you scream. LOL. Pretty much a metal coffin for 4.
me three! way too close to other humans for me!haha. It's funny you say that because I had the same reaction to M:S. The shoulder restraints and the moment the capsule shuts makes me really claustrophobic. Those thoughts went through my head too.
I couldn't imagine doing orange on top of all that.
I like shoulder restraints for rides that go upside down. Physics or not keeping you in the vehicle, they make me feel more secure if there are any loops or corkscrews. Lapbars are good for any other ride though. I always just assumed shoulder restraints were required or something for rides with inversions.
Haha, "Dutch Oven" a few tourists.I could just imagine if someone had a panic attack with release of gas, holy.......LOL. That would make for a truly outstanding ride.
