Certainly not deluxe resort cash rooms. They already cannibalize their own deluxe rooms.

Honestly, an Extra Value tier below the All Stars would book up. But what would that look like? Only 3 walls to a room? Outhouses?

I guess if it’s like $70/night…

What about the Super Premium resort where a legion of Stormtroopers exit the elevators and mermaids swim in the swimming pools? How many internal organs would I need to sell in order to afford that one?

Per the agreement, they are allowed a maximum of 53,467 rooms at the moment.

It seems (upon a quick Google search), they currently have 36,114 on property, this includes the Disney Springs hotels & Swolphin which are not operated by WDW. I would assume that they are included in the total number of keys though due to the fact that it is a development agreement for all of Walt Disney World property.

This allows for 17,000 more rooms over the next 10 years. That is a LOT of hotels. We are never going to see that number hit in the next 10 years.

I think they should make an Epcot Hotel, heres my plans. A Italian/Venice themed hotel with canal boats to ride on, all rooms facing inward and all building 3-5 stories and cant be seen from the park. You also get to use the old Italy Pavilion for a new one, Im thinking India, Egypt, or Brazil
You're idea is basically Disney's Grande Venezia resort but reborn near Epcot instead of Seven Seas Lagoon. What's kind of funny is Disney's Riviera Resort is practically a neighbor an Italian neighbor half itself.

Yes but the finished version of Disney's Riviera Resort doesn't feel much like anything other than a Marriott hotel...it is certainly not themed aside from some occasional photos. A Grand Venetian Resort could be truly beautiful...but I have concerns over whether current leadership could pull something like that off anymore. The Italy pavilion was supposed to have gondoliers and an actual show...instead we got a restaurant and a gift shop...leaving the attraction to phase two....and when phase 2 happened it became a pizza place instead of a real attraction. ( I do really like Via Napoli) I wish Iger's mandate was about putting an attraction at every country pavilion rather than making every new added attraction be based on whatever company owned IP happens to be popular at the moment.... Having more thematically appropriate attractions giving World Showcase more capacity would make people a lot happier than the re-landscaped core of Future World ever will.
