Any word if there'll be anything on the discs about the attraction? I mean, something non-DVD-Rom related? Cause they always seem to save this kind of stuff to the DVD-Rom features, and that's just stupid. I'd love to watch a featurette talking about the similarities between movie and attraction, what they used, didn't use or just briefly mentioned... You know, stuff like that.

Not sure, but I know that Swiss Family Robinson had a nice amount of Pirates of the Caribbean footage in it's special features. But, it was Swiss Family Robinson! They did feature the Tree Attraction at DL as well though.

However... 20,000 Leagues under the sea only had a few references to it's rides (mainly mentioning the DisneySeas and Paris attractions) although it did have the former DL and WDW attraction posters. Even Worsel... Country Bears did not have anything in reference to it's namesake.

I don't really understand it. Pirates really should since it is 2 discs but I don't know. It seems Disney does not always understand customer expectations and wants.

Just got this for Christmas...

As Imagineergurl said, the second disc contains an exerpt from an old Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show. It features some of the artwork and animatronics from the original Disneyland version then has a television production quality video of some of the ride opening ceremonies and the entire ride itself at Disneyland. Very nice extra feature.
