Just got back!!!, I don't know if I loved it or not I deff. liked it but umm there where so many problems throughout it (Like the little attention on Deaths that count bigtime) that I just don't know, there was way to little of the corny comedy that made the first ones so great (not that it wasn't there I did laugh) and there was a little to much talking I guess though it was need to explain alot even though alot was still left unexplained not to mention the writing seemed alittle rushed. The frists made me glued to the action from start to finish this one did the same just VERY differently It relied alot on the effects which where great but it really felt like the story was about them alone. I got to say though the movie was amazing just to look at incredible I hope though that the next one (hopefully there will be one... If there is info that another one is being made PLEASE tell me) will be ten times better then this one. I guess I did love it though even with its story glitches Un I have about 30 questions about it like the whole Tia Dalma thing wat the heck happened after the whole thing happened that I'm tring to avoid from saying do to spoil anthing for anyone that didn't see it. IDK I loved it but still I'm left uneasy because even with how long it was the story felt rushed.... Please tell me some1 knows wat I mean.
Oh yea the seane at the end after credits, nice little conclusion hope it wasn't like a conclution to their story though because if there is another one I want them in it.

Don't take it as "set-in-stone" but Depp has been saying all along that he'd do another one if the script was good. The link says he's actually signed for POTC 4 but who knows if they've gotten that far yet.

After a while of going back I can honestly say that I now love the movie if you go back to the second one and piece all the characters storylines together the dutchmans curse thing make sense WHOOT WHOOT!!! i LOVE IT YEA LOL TOOK A WHILE LOL =]

I knew a 4th movie was on the way before the 3rd even came out. I just hope they don't get stupid as they go. Go out with a bang I always say. End it here and leave them wanting more.

yay! We all wish there will be a 4th. But the truth is a hard pill to swallow and it says (according to jerry bruckheimer, as of 5/24/07) that the series is done. If anyone has other news from someone more reliable than the executive producer, i'd be glad to hear it.

Dont want to spoil it for anyone so could someone please pm me on what the last scene was after the credits.....i (like most people i suppose!) left once the film (we thought!) had finished !!!!

When I went to the first movie, someone had told me to sit through the credits. There was me, and one other person. The theatre came in to sweep the floor and they kept looking at us from the corner of thier eye. I know they thought we were bananas.
I had read some time ago in an article about Kiera Knightly (can't stand her) that she was asked to do more Pirate movies and she told them know, she was young when she did the first one and now she was a "woman" and needed to do other films. GAG!!

I just got back from seeing it, was really good. Methinks there was a bit too much going on though.

Yes, what you said was true. The boy is singing, and he goes to the edge of a cliff and looks out on the water, and Elizabeth follows him, and watches as Will returns from sea after 10 years.
I do hope they do more, but I feel if they did, it will take place many years later, and Will's son may accidentally bump into Jack (who has become immortal due to the fountain of youth) and they begin a series of events that lead to Will's son becoming a pirate, and an even larger and more menacing threat has taken over the seas.

For anyone wanting a spoiler of what happens (who misses other posts explaining it on this site) after the credits you can check out Wikipedia for an written explanation.
Or, as of right now, on YouTube, someone posted a semi-good quality 1 minute video of it, but if you want to see if you'd better hurry because Disney's keeping a close eye on YouTube and having any Pirates 3 videos pulled for Copyright infringement.
Not saying it's right for the YouTube poster or anything but for someone who already paid to see the movie but missed the scene after the credits, it's nice to have now seen it.

Who was surpirsed by the fact that there was a segment after the credits?
I find it hard to believe that people still leave as soon as the credits roll since it seems a large number of films, especially Disney films, run an extra scene after the end of the credits.
It is one of those things that make people go back to see a movie.

As everyone who has seen POTC 3, for others on the last 2 movies you have to stay after the credits to see what they show, the monkey, the dog. My wife did not like the ending though. I thought it was a really good movie, and has been left open for another. But, and if no one else noticed this, Captain Jack Sparrow ended the movie like he came in, in a dingy!! I thought that was cool, it's just the fact that he became more crazy than at the beginning.
