Post count bug.

I don't really care about how many posts it says I have. But on sunday night it said I had 399. I got back last night, signed in here and it said I had 406. I didn't post except once yesterday. When I left to watch TV down stairs, I left with 408. I got back and now I have 411. Something's screwy. :veryconfu

Not that I can see. It doesn't really bother me. I just thought he would like to know because some people do care about their post counts. Unless, of course, it just happens to me.

That link has a an error message that says "sorry - no matches."

All I know is that when I left for WDW on Monday morning I had 399. When I got back that night I had 406. I didn't post while at WDW nor did I see any new posts under my name when I did a search that night after returning home.

From the link you posted, it shows that I didn't post anything after what I said in the NFL thread in Chit Chat. The next post was when I tried to post some pictures in a thread I started but didn't work. Between those two posts, my post count jumped from 399 to 406. I found no posts adding to my count between them.

I would say the problem occured when you posted the photos and there was a problem. It most likely incremented your counter, without the post actually appearing. I have just rebuilt the post counts now, so you will now have an accurate count, most likely less than you had before (based on removed/moderated threads that you may have posted in).

I lost 70 posts.... I guess this explains it in part, but it is hard to imagine I had that many posts in threads that were deleted or moderated as suggested below....


Either way... Not like it really matters
