Does anyone out there have a list of attractions that will be down in November? I'm trying to plan my trip with my disabled wife and two very abled kids and was hoping to get some advance warning on what may be shut down for rehab.

This is taked directly from waltdisneyworld.com:
To provide Walt Disney World® Guests with the highest-quality experience, attraction maintenance is occasionally necessary. Please refer to the following schedule to see what attractions may be closed during all or part of your next visit. For updated details, you may wish to call (407) WDW-MAGIC (939-6244)†, just prior to your visit. Dates of refurbishment are subject to change without notice.

Magic Kingdom® Park

Mike Fink Keelboats operates seasonally

Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other popular Disney characters will appear in three-dimensional animation at "Mickey's PhilharMagic Orchestra," a new attraction scheduled to debut in 2003 in the Magic Kingdom Park. This attraction will replace Legend of the Lion King, which is now closed to help prepare for this new attraction.

Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park

Downtown Disney® area

The Captain's Tower located in the Downtown Disney Marketplace will close for refurbishment on April 29, 2002. It will reopen in mid-July as Disney's Pin Traders, the ultimate Walt Disney World pin destination. During our refurbishment you can find toys and more at Toys Fantastic located adjacent to the Captain's Tower.

My personal advice would be to keep cheking the webiste (its in the FAQ's section) or call the number for the most up to date information.

Have a great trip!!!:sohappy:

November rehab schedule from Deb's site (www.wdwig.com):

ANIMAL KINGDOM

Flame Tree Barbecue Open seasonally during busy times

EPCOT

Mission:Space Opens 2003

MAGIC KINGDOM

The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom closed for rehab from July 29 to December 15th. Tony's Town Square will reopen for breakfast during that time. In fact, you can join Pooh and Friends at Tony's for a pre-plated character Breakfast or Lunch. Tony's will continue to serve their regular a la carte dinner without characters.

Mike Fink Keelboats, The Timekeeper, Carousel of Progress - Open seasonally during busy times

DISNEY-MGM STUDIOS

Backstage Pass Walking Tour - closed

River Country will remain closed for 2002

Typhoon Lagoon - Closes for annual rehab on October 27, 2002 through December, 28, 2002.

RESORTS

Beach Club - Extensive renovations in the guest rooms begins in October when the Yacht Club renovations are completed -- look for new furniture, carpet, tvs and more. Renovations should be completed in March of 2003.

Boardwalk Villas - Extensive exterior renovations through 2002

Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed as of September 8, 2002. The resort's food court area, Old Port Royale, is being refurbished, along with construction of a new table service restaurant and display kitchen.

Guest Services will be contacting Guests with reservations at CBR for this time frame in the order of their arrival date. Accommodations at alternate moderate resorts will be offered.

Work on this project is scheduled to be completed in
time for the holiday season, at which time the resort will reopen.

Disney Institute - Resort rooms closed pending construction of new Disney Vacation Club buildings. Spa, golf course and fitness room remain open.

Polynesian Resort - the longhouses are being refurbished one by one. Each longhouse under rehab is walled off (and very little disturbance to folks staying there). Tentative schedule is:

Fiji: now through September 28
Samoa: January 6-April 20, 2003
Hawaii: June 1-September 27, 2003 (Service will be moved to another longhouse)
Tonga: September 14-December 20, 2003
Niue: September 28-December 20, 2003

Aotearoa and Tuvalu have been completed. Rarotonga has not yet been scheduled.

Keep in mind this schedule is not set in stone and is subject to change.

Shades of Green - Closed April 1, 2002 until September 2003 for major construction. Guests are being accomodated in the Contemporary.

Just called the Beach Club Resort. We are staying there 11/24-11/29. We paid for a waterview room. They are definitely doing renovations, but they can't tell me for sure if I will have a waterview room or not. They told me to call 4 days before I leave.
Well that s**ks a big one:mad: I hope I get a room already renovated and a waterview - if not:fork:
