True, true. The problem was there was no sentence limit, so people went all out. I'd say a One Sentence Contest kind of delio would be perfect for a 30 days format.Because of the craziness

Planning on keeping Quest for Diamond Ears in current timeslot, but it's format will allow for leftover, unused projects for the comp, the leftovers of which I could compile into something to run alongside the elite 8. And While My Comp will take 35 Days, and has 25 topics, only about 18 Will be done.

I actually meant making this the Elite Eight (or however we choose the end-of-year contest to be). @Magic Feather can still host it, but it would be longer, and make sure we don't have two competitions at one time.
I'm pretty sure this won't fly, but anyone have thoughts?

I don't see the issue with having two competitions at once, as long as they don't step on each other's feet.
Maybe we could make it a tradition where the previous year's winner hosts? Because it seems like our usual host @Zweiland hasn't been on in a really long time. I'm going to start a thread tomorrow where we can move this discussion.

We could probably chat more about it, but from my perspective the only time where 2 comps at once is an issue is when the same people are in both.
If the two comps have two different audiences, then they really don't overlap, and everyone is a happy camper
