Portofino Bay Memorial Day Weekend

Thinking of a Memorial Day trip to Universal. I've only stayed at Cabana Bay, but for a holiday weekend, I definitely want Express Pass included. All of the EP hotels are about the same price, so I am leaning towards Portofino Bay with my 6 and 11 year olds and wife. Is there a good reason to consider Royal Pacific or Hard Rock over Portofino Bay? Also, quick question about the rooms. Do these resorts offer rollaway or inflatable beds? Is there an empty fridge, or do they have a stocked mini bar in the room? Does the bell services desk there accept stroller deliveries? Thanks for any answers you can provide!

You should call the hotel to get official answers to your questions. That's always the best idea. Having said that, the fridge is empty. There will probably be some expensive bottles of water which you should not drink, but they won't be in the fridge. I believe they accept deliveries but there is a service charge. Pretty sure you can get a roll-away bed.

All three deluxe hotels are great. Hard Rock is the closest to the parks. Portofino (our favorite) is the farthest but it is still only a short walk away. Water taxis are available at all three weather permitting. Royal Pacific can be a little cheaper if that's a consideration. I would just go with whichever theme appeals to you the most.

I would go Portofino, my favorite. Yes roll away beds can be had. Empty fridge, can't say it's ever been very cold. Why do hotels put fridges in unvented cabinets? Just why? Cut some D### holes in the back.

Might want to wait a little bit I feel room prices crashing soon. I have reservation under the AP rate and I'm set to rebook if the prices drop.
