Huge FQ fans here. Truly a great value for the $. Transportation is great and the size of it is ideal for us.

We have been staying at PORS for years and before that when it was the Dixie Landings. We love to stay in the big mansions. For us it's quiet and extremely layed back and beautifully done. I used to love eating breakfast at boat rights. Loved the Bannana stuffed French Toast. The Bakery Bucket was to die for and loved the fresh made Marmalade. My wife simply went crazy over the Strawberries and cream. Yes there are a lot of resorts to choose and stay at in WDW, but River Side is where we always feel the best and relaxed. Also love the Boat ride on the Sassagoula water taxi's to down town disney from the resort.

Stayed at POR 2 years ago. It was okay and we had a fun time but it is not my favorite resort. The buses were super slow, and in the end the theming isn't my style.

But that is why it's great to stay at Disney. There are a lot of resorts and theming that one will finally suite you. Isn't that what really matters in the long run. It's great to find a resort that you connect with. I feel that truly enhances your stay.

Both resorts are great but I prefer PORS. The layout and landscaping of that property is beautiful. I could also do without FQ's water slide.

Excellent choice, one of my favorites, make sure you find out about yee haw bob, he plays about 5 nights a week, really a great show, and its free, just get there early to grab a table, he fills the room everynite.

PORS is very good - stayed there two times, and next year staying at POFQ. Love the idea of being able to stroll between the 2 resorts, getting the bus or the boat to DTD too. Had room in Parterre Place both trips - peaceful. I'm sure that you will enjoy it.

Just returned from our trip staying at POFQ, friends were staying at PORS at the same time. We all had a blast, such wonderful resorts to stay in. Both are winners. Yee Haa Bob was rockin it.

I love both of them! I am returning to POR for my 5th stay this winter. I have also stayed at POFQ 3 times. They are both great!

Port Orleans Riverside and FQ are my Home Away from Home! I have stayed at both numerous times and we just love everything about them. I give the edge to French Quarter for its small size. I really feel immersed in the theme and Disney Bubble when I'm there. Can't beat that relaxing boat ride to DTD.. one of my favorite things about the resorts!

To me, they are like mini-deluxe resorts without spending a fortune. We are trying the Royal Guestroom next month and we are so excited!!!
