We've stayed at POR several times and have always had good luck... We love the way everything is placed on the grounds and the boat to DTD. We stayed at CS in October and it was ok but it wasn't POR. We will definitely stay at POR if we go back down in October? I have recommended POR to our friends and they have said that they also love it there and will continue to go back there when ever they go back.

That is our opinion, everybody is entitled to there opinion and everybody has different preferences!!!!!

My family will be staying at Riverside for the first time in a couple months. What are some of the things that everyone likes to do there.

Any tips on things to do, the best pool or things to do other most other people don't know about will be greatly appreciated.
My kids did a pirate cruise in the morning, I think they took an oath not to talk about, but they both loved it, you can get info and times from the front desk.

Yee Haw Bob, boat to DTD, walk around the grounds at night. We also enjoy Boatwright's for dinner. It's not too busy or pricey and food is very good.

The boat downtown is by far our favourite feature, plus just walking around at night -- it's absolutely gorgeous. The smaller pools are all very nice and obviously less busy than the big central one.

Contemporary-
1. Walk into MK
2. Monorail to and from MK and EPCOT
3. Electric Water Pageant
vs.
Port Orleans Riverside
1. Save $2500
2. Bus to and from MK and EPCOT

They could grab a late dinner at any monorail resort and then go outside to watch the EWP without actually having to stay there. We've done this. Needn't be a deciding factor.

Another option is POR with a rental car. Cuts down slightly on the savings, but makes transportation much faster.
