Port Orleans Riverside

I was hoping the resort experts could provide some personal insight into their stays at Port Orleans Riverside...bus wait times, accomodations, cast members, anything and everything that could help my family make a decision on our resort location for an upcoming trip. We have previously stayed at The Wilderness Lodge (several times), All Star Sports, Coronado Springs, Pop Century.

We are also considering Caribbean Beach, French Quarter, and possibly Saratoga Springs so any further advice would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed in Alligator Bayou back in 2005 during August. We were in one of the buildings further away from most everything. It was very quiet and peaceful. We never had a problem with the bus. It just takes a little longer because they make a few stops. The closer you go to the food court the louder, and busier, it got.

We stayed at the PO-R back in '07 and LOVED it. All of us. We were on the Magnolia Bend side and it is such a charming property. The pool was fun, we had a short walk to the busses, the pool and the main building. The room was comfortable and we had great service, too. It was also quiet which is nice when you're exhausted at the end of the day. Very, very enjoyable. :)
