Does anyone know the best buiding to stay at in the Mansions. My husband has a hard time walking far. Also, building numbers Thanks

The Parterre Place building is the closest to the front lobby and the main bus stop.

Oak Manor is also close. It is no longer a smoking bldg. We stayed there in December.

What counts is the distance to the bridges over the river since you cannot walk like the crow flies.
To some degree, it also depends on which side of the building you are on.

In your reservation request, say something like 'Need room close to lobby because spouse cannot walk far.'
If they know the reason then it will help them assign you a close room, regardless of the bldg.

We have stayed in all four buildings.
I think that you will be OK in any of the buildings except Arcadia House, which is the fartherest.

All four Mansions area buildings have elevators.

With respect, I'm not sure this is true.

I stayed at Parterre Place last April and LOVED IT!! It certainly is no more than a 5 minute walk to the main building and bus stop, but if you look at a map, it is still not exactly the closest building to the main complex.
Because of the necessity to cross a bridge to get from ANY of the buildings to the main complex, it may not be the longest walk, but I highly doubt it is the shortest. (Admittedly, I didn't time the other buildings! )

In any case, none of the buildings are long walks and the whole resort is just WONDERFUL!!
