Pork and Vegetable Dumplings

When we last visited in November 2009, DH and I ate at O'hana. I fell in love with the pork and vegetable dumplings. They are yummy. I was wondering if there is anywhere else in the parks where I can find these. We are going back in November this year but will not be dining at O'hana. I have heard that I cannot call the restaurant to just order these as a take out, but would really like to enjoy these as a special treat. Please Help!!!

Unfortunately these dumpings are only served at Ohana. However, you can find dumplings at the Quick Serve location in China that aren't bad.

This year we tried the duck dumplings from Kona Cafe...they were super similar. Whatever sauce or seasonings they use must be identical. I was actually hoping they taste differently (we had eaten in 'Ohana already on the trip) but they didn't. I'd never had duck before but ground-up with whatever other veggies are in there it was indistinguishable from other meats. If 'Ohana is off the list for your trip and you find yourself in the Poly, Kona Cafe is amazing (I recommend the Shrimp and Scollops and the Tuna Oscar and you can't go wrong with any of their desserts). The dumplings are definitely worth a shot.

Yack and Yeti serves them and they are pretty good. Honestly, I've never had a bad pork dumpling, they are one of my favorite foods. I believe they sell them at the quick service location.

FYI, I buy Tai Pei brand at the grocery story. If you make them correctly. Pan Fry---Steam---Pan Fry, and doctor up the sauce or make your own sauce, they actually come out very good. Good for frozen food anyway.
