POR room locations

Anybody got input about the Magnolia Bend Bldgs 90 or 95 as too whether they would require a water view or Royal upgrade if you requested one of those bldgs? Thinking about POR for our next visit...

I could be wrong, but I think there are some non-Royal rooms in that area, but I could be wrong. Have you seen this site? It's awesome for all things POR! (My favorite place). I would call to be sure.

We stayed on Acacia House our last trip, and it was not a far walk to the main building by any means.

OMG thanks for that website! Are the Royal rooms located only in the red sections. So I can count on being in either of those two locations.

Yes that is correct. The red building are Royal rooms. I know this from both the maps and experience when we were told that there were no longer normal rooms in our favorite building (Parterre Place).

There are non-Royal rooms in the Mag Bend area. We always request this area and we requested a non-Royal garden view room for our upcoming trip. As always, Disney says "we can note your request but we cannot guarantee your request"; but, in all our previous trips we have yet to be placed in a location other than the one we requested at booking. We have stayed twice in a Royal room in 2012 and our opinion is that they are nothing to write home about.

There are no regular rooms left in Buildings 90 or 95, no matter what DIsney reservations tells you. They have all been converted to Royal rooms. The thing is, they will not tell you that when you call in with a room request, they will just tell you that they have put in a request but that it might not be guaranteed. You will find out at the time of checkin that unless you have booked a Royal Room they can not accommodate you in 90 or 95. Call back and request 80 or 85 before they shuffle you off to the smaller cottage buildings. Building 80 tends to be loaded with Brazillian tour groups, so your best bet is Building 85.
