POR or AoA?

Having a family of 5 would you choose Port Orleans Riverside with Deluxe Dining or Art of Animation with Dining Plan and bring in breakfast and snack items to the family suite kitchenettes? (have used Garden Grocer in the past to SSR and it worked out well). Any pros or cons to each resort would be helpful - thanks for the advise.

Art of Animation w/ DDP would be a good option. The deluxe dining plan is too much for us, and my hubby & son eat a lot! There would be more room in a suite as well.:)

Being that AOA is brand new I would go with them but thats just me. On a side note, I also had to decide between AoA and PORS for our trip in November and it was not an easy call. We ended up going with AoA bceause it had more square footage, an extra bathroom, and my DW and I get out own room, always a positive. It will be us, our 2 sons and my MIL.

Although we are on a dining Plus plan which gives us a snack, QS, and TS per day, we also plan on bringing in some groceries for breakfast and a lunch or two. Good luck on your decision.

We stayed at POR for the first time last year and fell in love with the resort! Staying there again this December and can't wait to go back!

I would probably skip deluxe dining no matter where I stayed. It really is a lot of food! We are able to do breakfast. lunch, and dinner with the regular plan without any issues. We had to choose betwee AoA ond POR (both had free dining), and we chose AoA (Littler Mermaid section) because it will be brand new and because it saved us quite a chunk of money. In your case, staying at POR would be a big money saver over a suite AoA, but 5 people to a room could get crowded. We have stayed at POR and loved it, and so far AoA is getting rave reviews so I don't think you cna go wrong with whatever you decide.
