When traditionally does Pop Warner take place. I've read on here that usually it happens the first week in December, but I've also read it takes place the second?
I would like to avoid this event as much as possible next year, so is it typically one specific week in December, or can it vary?
Thanks so much Ya'll!

I think it varies slightly, but in the last three years it has been the first full week of December. This year was December 6th thru the 13th.

If this holds true next year it will be December 5th thru the 12th.

It's Over

It's over. The only reason I know this is the one of the Winning teams is from my home town. They were also in a fight with Dorchester. They still are the champions but on probation for one year.

Yes
I was there last week and as a lot of other people have said, I didn't really notice them. I was at Pop Century and didn't see hardly and of them

I think you will find is that a very large majority of them stay at the All Star Sports, with Port Orleans the moderate price resort.

When we were there I didn't see as many as I have in the past, but at Epcot there was one large group at least 30 to 40 roaming. Though I don't know if pop warner, looked like Cheerleaders and all had the same back back, could have been some other group.

You do not really need to avoid WDW all together because of Pop Warner just avoid the value resorts in particular the All Stars. They also stay in PORS but as a general rule there numbers there are small and they go largely unnoticed. At the All Stars however, they behavior has made the news for the last 2 years running.

Last year Pop Warner took place during our brief visit from 12/1-4. I think we may have also been there during the MouseFest trip, but don't know for sure. We did not experience many issues except that our resort (OKW) was very crowded and it took a long time to check in. The only park that was overwhelmingly crowded was the Studio. Overall, it is a very nice time to visit WDW, but it is much busier than it was years ago.

Yeah, I'm not really concerned about their behavior and stuff, I was just assuming that with an event ther, that there would be more crowds. I really don't know what I'm worried about. The only times I've been to Disney were during peak seasons where I spent most of the day waiting in lines. I'm sure the crowds during this time will be nothing in comparisson.

Pop Warner will have little to no effect on the crowds at the parks. Quite honestly Mousefest which occurs around the same time has more effect on the parks than Pop Warner does.
