I searched here and could not find anything.

I just saw on allears that the 70s building was just redone. Are other buildings going down in the near future?

All of the Deluxe Resorts got their refurbs and flat screen TVs, correct?

Pop Century, Coronado, and Pirates Section of Caribbean Beach also got flat screens.

That leaves Fort Wilderness, Caribbean Beach, Riverside, French Quarter, and the AllStars without an updated flat screen, correct? Hopefully the next refurb will come soon, even if only for TV. The update makes the room look so much better.

I know Old Key West hasn't seen any refurb with new TV's yet. But, they are scheduled to begin this year. Not heard whether Saratoga Springs, Villas Wilderness Lodge or Beach Club Villas have gotten flat screens yet.

I find it funny that there's so much talk about the flat screens. I was there last week at pop (building10) and saw the rehab going on in building 6. I then moved from POP to the POLY for a couple of nights. Nice flat screens showing STRETCHED SD broadcasts. What's the deal? All networks are HD, as well as the "DISNEY OWNED" ESPN network. Why go to such expense and still show SD broadcasts?????

Not all tvs (including flat PANELS), are widescreen. However, you should be able to adjust the image on the screen to standard. It's ridiculous if they don't give you that capability, especially since there are different size widescreen images.

Just stayed at the '70's at POP in Oct and our room definitely did not look like this. Glad to see the changes and can't wait to be back "home" soon. 70's is by far the best, not too close, not too far away. With that flat screen, now we have more room for all of our Disney purchases that we just can't seem to get enough of!!!! :D

I was in the 70's for the first time last month & our room was still the old comforters & tv. A few of the mornings, it did sound like there was some sort of drilling and pounding going on in the room above us, maybe it had to do with the refurb.
We usually request a room in the 80s or 90s, but after staying in the 70s & seeing this refurb, I think we'll definitely be requesting rooms in the 70s instead now.
