Pop Question

My gf and I are about to book our triumphant return to Disney having not gone this year (unless you count being there New Year's day and the two following, counts for me) and our settled on our dates and resort but have one question we hope you guys could help us with.

When her and I went back in October 2010 we stayed over at AS Movies, we did the fridge rental (which was the biggest waste of money for a six night stay). This next trip we're taking we're going to stay at Pop - do the value resorts have the mini-fridge standard in their rooms now or no? I tried looking up the answer, the resort page on this site said available upon request as did WDW's site, no mention of the extra cost though. A third site, more of a forum, had people saying they come standard in Pop and Sports (so I'd imagine all the values but I didn't read past those two answers).

I trust you guys on here more than other forums, so thanks for any help!

When did this happen? I stayed at Pop just under a year ago and there was definitely no fridge.
It has been in the completed for a while now. I am not positive of the completion date but I was at Pop last weekend and we did have a fridge in our room. They do tend to conceal them quite well in the dresser so it is quite possible that you had one, but if you did not look for it you would not see it.

Confirmed as well. Although I guess the thing I had was more of a "chiller." It was small, and didn't seem like it was going to keep anything ice cold. Cans and small stuff would fit, but if I remember correctly, you wouldn't get a gallon of milk in there.

This is quite correct. One of these days I need to stick a thermometer in one to see where they are actually at. I have a feeling that they are hovering at about 40-45 degrees at best. If that is the case I'll start looking for a thermostat to tweak.

Good call! Ours was broken this past august. We went to put our Daughters left over birthday cake from 50's Prime time in, and it was hotter in there then in the room!

I thought that too with a fridge at Pop.

Was there last week and had a fridge in both rooms!!

Must mention Tammy at the gift shop!! Greatest Disney CM ever! Our last 2 trips she has decorated buttons for us to wear! Last time it was Happy Anniversary, this year it was a "Happily Ever After" button with the inscription "24 yrs of Magic".....Tammy rocks!!
