POP or Coronado?

I'm planning my honeymoon for October 2011 and we are trying to decide which resort hotel to stay at? What are your suggestions between POP or Coronado? I really don't think we will spend much time in our room.

My other thing is that my fiance is handicapped so we were planning on using the buses with his motorized scooter... I hope that isn't a problem? Thoughts?

And any suggestions where else to stay -- we can't afford any deluxe resorts.

Doesn't matter which moderate you stay at. Some rooms are closer than others to the food courts.

I have stayed at CB and it was heaven. If you get a preferred room you will be right at the food court location. All parts of the resort have bus stops so that is not a problem.

If you look at the map of CS you will see that several rooms are away from the food court. If you need to save just a little more money ask for a room in Aruba section of CB in buildings 51 or 52. I stayed in building 52 when I was there.

Or Jamaica section of CB in buildings 45 or maybe 44 ask for a room facing the lake in either case, I did. it was a short walk across the foot bridge to food court.

CSR has a fitness center, spa, tanning beds, a sauna, salon, full menu room service and a night club.

How come I never knew this????

It's fairly new, 2-3 years old maybe.

FYI my wife and I were planning our trip a few months ago and we were pretty dead set on staying at CB or CS, as I have previously stayed at both of them and loved them both.....but then we compared the cost of it to the POP Century.....for the 7 night we are staying there it was a little over 1000 dollars less to stay at the POP century over either of the other resorts. While I admit the other resorts are awesome and may be alot nicer.....1000 dollars can sure buy a lot of extra activities, gifts, souvenirs, expensive meals, etc...... just something to keep in mind, esp if you truly are planning on spending little to no time actually at the hotel...

I'll agree with the majority when I'll say Coronado Springs is absolutely beautiful. If I weren't such a sucker for Old Southern charm, like that depicted in the 2 Port Orleans resorts, I would probably list Coronado as my favorite moderate. And I do love the Latino architecture... great resort.

Wow...evey1 chose CSR. Well...I must concur. It is a beautiful place and my fav mod to stay at. Pop is the best value and the only one I will everrrr stay at again but for a honeymoon I must agree that CSR is perfect. I'd stay there over Pop anyday.

The pool, grounds, food, store, club, arcade, busing...everything is really great. The grounds are large but so are 3/4 of the mods and most of the deluxes.

As others have said, I don't think you will be disappointed.
