I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing... that it was all started by a mouse.

Um, what does that have to do with anything?

I can definately imagine the Wish upon a star rap song:

"When you *bleeping* wish upon a *bleeping* star, makes no *bleeping* difference who the hell you are. Any load of *bleep* your heart desires will *bleeping* come to you! If your *bleeping* heart is in your *bleeping* dream, no *bleeping* request is too *bleeping* extreme! When you*bleeping* wish upon a *bleeping* star, your stupid *bleeping* dreams come true ya mother *bleeper*!"

Actually, I got the quote from Save Disney...when they were up and running, they would send e-mails out citing famous Walt quotes...this quote was taken directly from that e-mail. So it's gotta be somewhat right. I didn't just arbitrarily make it up.

That's so clever (at first I thought-another misspelling!) :D

Anyway........

Maybe it's just a matter of fine-tuning (tweaking) of volume levels in the areas that the music should stay in. Speaker placement can also affect the areas that the music can be heard in.

The whole idea of Pop artists doing a cover version of a classic Disney song is fine and should be encouraged as it brings Disney to whole new audience !

Now out of the blue

if you could select a bunch of "REAL" pop artist to do some covers (although DisneyMania had some Real Pop acts) what artist songs would you let them sing?

More on this, would you do a Classic Version or a Cover (a cover version is a different version of the Original, Example Usher's You Be In My Heart (Cover) Olivia Newton John's Part Of That World (Classic)

Doesn't bother me at all - it's kind of a nice change. The theming of MGM has always been suspect in terms of realism - didn't Eisner say something like, "The Hollywood that never was, and always will be?" It's a hyperreal enviornment, and it fits in just fine in my eyes. It's not like they are blasting "Crazy In Love" over Main Street USA.

BTW, MKT - nice avatar. It's my desktop right now. Wish I'd thought of using it as an avatar first. :)
