I am staying at the Pop Century the end of April, beginning of May and wanted to know if there only one bus stop? if so, does anyone have any suggestions which building is the best to stay at? Thanks.

There is only one bus stop area at Pop There are separate bus stops for each of the parks but it is all in one area in front of the main building. This differs from say the moderates where there are multiple stops around the resort but all of the park busses stop at each of the 4 or 5 stops around the resort. Belle

Yup, just one stop at the main building! The line to get on a bus can get rather long! I've often taken the bus to EPCOT and jumped on the monorail to get to MK. My wife and I raced last time, I won each time doing this!

It's fun too... You get to ride the monorail!

We stayed at Pop last summer and we were in the 1950's. Not too bad of a walk to the buses. The closest, however, would be to stay in the 1960's. Those buildings are right behind the main building.

i just got back from pop i stayed in the preferred building because it was so close to everything. but the 60's building aside the other ones that are close are the 50's and 70's are also good. all the buss stops are in front of the main building.

when i stayed there i was put in the 70's building at the back facing the playground. IMO the 80's and 90's buildings are far from the food court -if thats what your looking for but they are close to the lake. i was 4 doors from the stairs (the cowboy 8-track) and i could see the epcot sign onto of spaceship earth.

from the gift shop this is the order of the bus stops:

MGM
EPCOT
MAGIC KINGDOM
ANIMAL KINGDOM AND BLIZZARD BEACH
DOWNTOWN DISNEY,PLEASURE ISLAND AND TYPHOON LAGOON

these all have direct routes to the parks but of a morning and afternoon animal kingdom also drops off at blizzard beach.

the bus for DTD always has a long queue throughout the day.

hope that helps.:)

We stayed in the 80's and my inlaws stayed at the 60's (which is the main area). I think it was maybe a 5 minute difference in the walk to the busses. There are lots of pathways throughout the resort to get you around.

I've stayed there twice. Both times in the 50s. Once with a pool view, the other on the back side with a lake view. I would absolutely ask for the lake view again. It was quiet and great. When we stayed with the pool view the noise from the pool area was quite noticeable, even after midnight. Good thing my traveler husband had earplugs in his suitcase!

I would not pay extra for a "preferred" building if you are driving your own car, those preferred buildings are the farthest from the parking lots.

I was just there last week. If you dont' want to pay for preferred (60's) but want to be close to the main building/buses, you should ask for building 2 (1950s). It's right next to 1960's and is a very short walk to the main building/lobby.

There are, as said before, 5 bus stops--one for each of the four parks and then one for the rest of the main areas of WDW. Last week, I never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for a bus, and it was relatively slow.
