Pop Century request

I've read that you can call and request certain rooms/views and what not but my question is this, is there anything worth requesting at Pop?

I personally always request ground floor. It's so much easier for me after a long day just to walk right up to the room and not mess with stairs. (especially if you have a stoller and small child) the only down side to that is, if a parent lets their kid run up and down the hallway on the floor above you at 6 am. That happened to us once, I was about to complain to someone when it stopped.

DS goes bowling with his Grammy, so we thought he'd enjoy being in the 50's. It's all a matter of personal taste. For example if you love Roger Rabbit, request 80's.

Proximity to food court is key, if you are getting the refillable drink mugs. Last trip, we were placed in the 80's, which seemed to be the furthest away. We rented a car, and would keep the mugs in the car. When we returned, we would park up by the food court, fill up our mugs, and then drive back to the 80's section. When we returned the car, funny none of us wanted to make the walk to the room to get the mugs, walk to the food court, and back.

It really does depend what you want. A lot of the preferred rooms (which have a supplement) are in the 60s close to the biggest pool, the Hippy Dippy Pool and man does it get wild round there sometimes. We prefer to be a bit farther away, the rooms at the back of the resort overlooking the lake are very peaceful, but of course they're further from the food court and buses.

Pop isn't particularly spread out, none of the rooms are too far away like for instance CB or FW.

I usually request to stay in the 80's or 90's sections. It seems kinds far from the food court, but if you cut through the parking lot, you end up right by the bus stops. I usually dont eat at the resort in the morning, so I'd rather be closer to the bus stops.

We just stayed at the POP, we had 60's 3rd floor. It was a great location, they have elevators, so being on the upper floor was not an issue. It was nice being close to the pool and the food court, we could refill our mugs quickly and walk through the building straight to the bus lines. Have a great time!

we stayed in the 70's building, top floor. thats our favorite. they also have an elevator. I dont think anywhere at POP is that far from the food court or busses if you cut across parking lots......

I'm not too worried about the busses since we'll be in our own car. I think we were listed under a "preffered" room but I'm hoping I'll be kind of close to the lake or w/e it is that the unfinished resort is so I can take some cool pictures.
