Pop Century rack rate + Play3Days = Free Dining?

I asked on another board but didn't get a clear answer:confused: ...hoping someone over here can give a more definitive response. Does a Florida Resident's ticket qualify as an acceptable Magic Your Way ticket to qualify for Free Dining? Or does it have to be a general public Magic Your Way ticket? (In past years, we've bought 2 single day MYW tickets and then upgraded to FLRes once we get there but I'd rather avoid that step if it's not necessary especially since there's a slight {$1.06} price variance involved).

Thanks for your help!

@got2lovedisney, I get where you're going with your question. Like Richard said, there's no Florida Resident package of sorts. You can't apply any Florida Resident special rates into a package to incorporate the Free Dining promo. That would be stacking discounts which Disney doesn't do. You have to pick one and use it. However, what you described that you did before where you took the 2 day minimum MYW ticket and upgraded it once you got there is a bit of a loop hole that takes a little effort but can be done. I've done it before several times. To budget for it I looked at the prices of the MYW tickets and booked the Free Dining package with the ticket that (by itself) was the most comparable to the FL resident seasonal pass. I'm pretty sure at least once we actually received money back when doing the swap from the MYWs to the FL resident seasonal passes. I know it's kinda a PITA to do but if you want to double-dip on the free dining and FL resident tickets you gotta do a little more leg work when ya get there. The good news is that it CAN be done. That's pretty cool unto itself!

Looks like it's a non-issue anyways as the rumored Free Dining dates don't fit our vacation schedule. Now I'm hoping for a Room Only discount!
