do they have hair dryers in the rooms at pop century?

I am not 100%

sure, but I dont think there were any in the rooms. You may have to call before you leave and find out. Also, you can NOT get coffee makers in your rooms at Pop Century at all.

Pop and the All-Stars do not have coffee makers or hairdryers in the rooms.

You can contact the front desk or housekeeping for a hairdryer. You can do this on the ROOM PHONE, instead of walking all the way back to the front desk.

You may request a hair dryer through housekeeping at Pop Century. There are no coffee makers available, either in the rooms or through housekeeping.

There is no coffee maker or tea kettle in the room.

There is hot water for tea in the food court.

On the subject of Pop Century, I have another question. I have heard that the a/c units in the PC shut off after no movement is detected, for example while the rooms are empty or people are asleep in bed. The kids really want to stay there this trip, and we have ressies for there, but I am concerned about room temp and comfort. I was talking to my husband about this and thought I came up with a good idea, he however, thinks I am losing my mind. Here's my idea, do you all think its crazy or does it stand a chance of working?
Buy the Mickey/Minnie Mylar balloon from the park, tie it to one of the chairs in the room, leave the chair by the a/c unit and the air from the unit will blow the balloon around enough to keep the a/c unit running while we are asleep. I am assuming of course that the PC has the little table and chair units like the all stars has. So am I crazy, or am I crazy like Lucy & Ethel and this might just work?????

I think that would depend on how much movement you get out of the balloon, where it was placed, and how sensitive the AC is to movement in the room. We usually stay at All Stars and considered PC this year, but because of the AC issue, decided against the newer PC and will return to All Star Sports.

Yeah, David, I agree this whole a/c issue is the one thing that has me worried. We have always had great times at the other 3 all stars. My husband is sort of pushing for a return to Movies. Just made our ressies last night, but they checked for me and still had plenty of rooms at the other 3 all stars. We aren't in the rooms all that much, sleep & shower.

Just wondered if the whole a/c issue was a real problem for people. SO if you've been there, done that, let us know what its like.
