Pop Century pool side rooms

Within the past few months I have stayed at PC a handful of times and to our surprise, we always get a pool side room! We have stayed at PC many times in the past years, but only get the pool side rooms when my 4 yr old nephew travels with us. We don't ask for special rooms, it just always happens this way. Has anyone else experienced a difference in room locations when they travel with kids vs. adults only, or is it just us?

It's hit or miss and varies every time I've stayed there even if I had a preferred room that I want on the 1st floor, I'll get a room for the 3rd floor poolside. Or a standard room way in the back facing the lake and I get a 4th floor room facing the parking lot...It's just what rooms are available within each decade..

I guess we have been lucky then! I might need to take that lil critter on some more trips so I'm 2 steps away from the pool.

I personally prefer a room on the backside. It's quieter.

Pool view rooms can be noisy….they do pool games and have music playing during the afternoons so if you're looking to go back to the room and nap I'd stay away from pool view.
