Pop Century in May

I was wondering what kind of crowds are we looking at for the value resorts in May? We went to Disney World in June a few years back and the crowds just to get on the busses for the value resorts were completely insane. I was just wondering if the same is true for mid-May?

The bad thing is that the Value resorts are always pretty popular due to the prices and Pop is the most popular of the bunch as it is the newest. I can tell you in all the times that I have been there, the bus to whichever park was only moderately crowded but the Food Court was usually a mob scene!!! Belle

Two out of the four times I've been to Disney World was in the middle of May. The crowds weren't bad at all. I noticed the lines for the buses to the value resorts weren't any worse than the lines for the buses to the other resorts.

Pop Century buses are usually more crowded but the buses come more often so your not waiting long at all. Enjoy Pop Century I will be going there in March...so excited.

I'm staying at POP at the end of May also and according to disney reservations, it was getting pretty full. In the 13 years of going to WDW this same time each year, it's never really busy except on Memorial day at the Magic Kingdom.

I've stayed at All Star Sports the last 3 years in May and they crowds weren't bad at all. This time we're hoping to stay at Pop Century.

Thanks guys, i'm almost completely sold on the pop. I am hoping to get down there around the 10-17th and be out of there before the memorial day crowd starts in. That and the air fare to orlando from cleveland right now is at $103!!! So here's hoping.

Stayed at POP in December for a weekend and loved it. We had stayed at the Wilderness Lodge previously, but POP was not bad for a "value" resort. We don't seem to spend much time in our room anyways....

Just booked a 3 day stay there in Late April( and then we go off-site for a week to Marriott Royal Palms, it's free so tough to say no!)

Room tonight, plane tickets last night.... and only 111 days to go!
