Every time we've stayed at Pop Century, we've gotten a preferred room and we have no complaints. We're normally placed in the 60's. To meet your criteria, you want to stay in the 60's or 70's. It's in the center of everything so it's definitely worth paying. The only complaint is that if you're close to the bottom floor, the pool can get noisy at night so try to get one that's closer to the top floor.
