Poor Show at Magic Kingdom

I love MK and it's great attractions but I could not help but notice a machine on top of Tomorrowland Terrace. I'm sure someone was using it and went in for break or lunch or something but it's just poor show to leave equipment out. It's not even something most guests would see but it's still bad show. The photos are from yesterday 1/1/2018. It wasn't that crowded which could explain it but still

Almost looks like they stole a rocket rod and painted it yellow...

It might be something that couldn't be relocated in enough time to have work on track. It takes maintenance to keep things in order, so as guests we have to be aware that at certain times signs of maintenance might be present. However, I think they could hide it in a simple way, not disrupting guests' views.

I understand what you're saying. I have never seen anything like that on my trips, so it sticks out because you usually don't see something like that that's unattended.

And we really don't know. Perhaps this apparatus's operator is behind it, down on his or her knees adjusting the queelus located to the left of the thingamabob and just happens to be out of sight at the moment.

I find it difficult to tell how visible that is in real life rather than on a zoomed picture. I might be looking straight in the direction of the Terrace and not notice a thing, or it could loom over the hub like...erm...a massive looming thing.

On stage is on stage though. One does not leave equipment on stage (within limits of reasonable effort or cost involved).
