Pool Towels

Do the resorts still offer towels to use at the pool or should we bring our own? Starting to get things organized for our trip in a week and don't want to pack towels if not necessary. Can hardly believe we will be there in 8 days , we haven't been there in almost 2 1/2 years!!! Can hardly wait

Not sure where you are staying but the resorts still offer towels at the pools. Even if they didn't, you could take the towels from your room and then call housekeeping and get more. Have a magical visit.....I will be at the WL from Sept 17-23......4 more says....can't wait!!!!!!

The main pools offer towels -- the smaller "quiet pools" at some of the resorts (all of the moderates and deluxes have quiet pools, I think) do not.

We tend to visit the quiet pools, so we bring the bath towels from our room.

Either way, there's no need to bring towels from home.

I don't think pool towels are offered at any of the Value resorts. But are available at the main pool at a moderate or deluxe. If you are at a value just use your bathroom towels and as housekeeping for more.

Towels for the pool are provided in the room as well at the main pools. When going to the more crowded pools I do however like to bring my own just so my chair is easily identifiable.

Thanks for the information, one less thing I will have to pack. We are staying at POR from 9/20-9/28. I can't believe in a week we will be there.

Have a great trip. Sounds like our trips may overlap - arriving on the 23rd. 46 years old, visit almost ever year, and I am positively giddy!

Yep, the values discontinued the practice. You can take room towels and request new towels from Mousekeeping however at times requests are not fulfilled or it can take a very long time.
