Pondering Moderate Resorts.....

I am planning a trip for 2 this coming September. I have been reading a lot of old threads on here about moderate resorts, pros and cons...etc.. and I really hesitated to ask repetitive questions, but it's coming from slightly a different angle than the ones I could find.

So far I have read that a lot of people love Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter. But I seem to be liking the themes of Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs. My main turn off for POR and POFQ (and don't shoot me) was the themes....my fiancee and I are 22 and we like beach style of CB and mexican theme of Coronado.

So basically my question is... which has better transportation to the parks (if there is a difference). I can't tell which is closer, isn't CB?

Last but not least, we are thinking about going to Islands of Adventure for literally a half day (can't let it reuin any disney fun) and does anyone know if the ticket prices there change if you are only coming late afternoon-to night?

Those travel times seem awfully long to me also. I don't think it ever took us that long to get to any of the parks from CBR. I wonder if those times are worst case scenarios. If you had to wait for the bus for 15-20 minutes because you just missed the last bus and you are the first bus stop, so you have to wait through all the other stops. Then add in travel time to the park, maybe it could take that long.

I've seen people from the Unofficial Guide defend those times by saying it is DOOR-TO-DOOR, meaning walking from your room to the resort's bus stop, then the waiting time for the bus, then the time on the bus, and then the walk from the bus to the park's gate.

It sounds like this decision is being over analyzed. You are going in September. There will be no one else there. Pick whatever sounds good and enjoy yourself.

I am a psychology student, of course I will over analyze it! Haha.

The only reason I am discussing it in fair detail is because it cost sooo much, I want to make sure I make the right decision. It seems like they are all great though, but I def think that I don't want to stay somewhere very spread out like CB or CS.
