We going to have dinner at the Polynesian (kona cafe) one of our evenings at Disney. I was wondering where on the Polynesian property can you view the fire works. If we finish up dinner we would like to stroll around the property and hopefully get to take in wishes fireworks from the resort --- is this even possible?

The beach by the Luau is still available.

I walked outside at the Poly a few weeks ago to scope out a fireworks spot. I saw the walls and walked right back inside got on the monorail and headed to the Contemporary. The beach looked closed to me but I didn't have time to waste because our dinner at Kona ran long.

You can't right now, but for 715 points a night at $205 a point buy in you can from a Bungalow!

(all values are imaginary - that's some imagination, huh!)

The beach is open. The easiest way to get to it is to walk to the Tokelau building just past the quiet pool. Then follow the fence to the front of Hawaii then turn left and walk in front of Hawaii. The still have the movies there on the beach and you can see the fireworks there. The music is still piped in on the very west side of the Hawaii building.

The beach in front of the main pool is closed and so is the very eastern portion. The bungalows do affect the view on the east side of the main beach.

We just returned from the Poly and yes, you can still view the fireworks from the beach. We walked to the Hawaii building, and to the left, there is a walkway onto the beach. (Now this could change as we have seen several walls come down then others go up during our 10 day stay) There were no hammocks, but lots of lounge chairs.

Yeah, I didn't mention that one cause it's not the resort's preferred way and as you said walls change in that area or at least did when we were there. It was open some nights and closed on a couple depending on what they were doing at the pool.

Hellow! I will go to WDW on the first week of february 2015. (please note that I am Spanish, so it will be my first time there, and also I don't speak english properly, so sorry if i make a mistake) I had planned to watch the fireworks from the polynesian beach, and then have dinner in Ohana. But I have read that the beach is closed... ¿Will it be still closed on february? I need to know it as soon as possible, to change our plans if neccesary.

If it's closed, then there's no way we can see the fireworks there? We would like to watch them in a beautiful place like the beach... if not, we prefer to watch them on the park. Thank you very much!!
