From Poly, can you walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center? if so...how far is the walk?

would it be better to walk or take the monorail all the way around?

Thanks :o

You can walk, and it depends on where you are located. From the front of the Great Ceremony House to the TTC Epcot monorail is about 10 minute walk. It's acutally a nice, calm, and peacefull walk to have in the morning.

Definately walk.
I stay at the Poly all the time. I find the walk to be very relaxing, and the scenery is beautiful.
It won't take you more than 10 min tops to get from your room to the TTC
and I personally think it's easier than riding all the way around, getting off the monorail, running to the next station and waiting for another monorail (but that's mostly because I'm in Manhattan alot and I have to wait for trains all the time lol)

We stayed in Tokelau (sp?) which was not quite half way between GCH and the TTC and it was an easy 5 minute walk. Some of the buildings that are way out are even closer to TTC. Also a side note, if you're returning from MK at park closing, it is probably faster to take the ferry back to TTC then walk to the poly instead of waiting in the monster monorail line. Way too many non-resort guests taking the resort monorail then getting off at TTC.

I agree with most here in that either one is good to use. It is always faster to use TTC for a trip to Epcot as you board that monorail directly.

The only negative point to walking using the TTC is when you are traveling back at night. If you have small children and everyone is tired, most of the time it is faster to walk back to the Poly than to trade monorail systems to bet back. Those walks are the most difficult because they are in fact 10 or so minutes. With kids it feels like an hour

That easy access is one of the things that makes the Polynesian GREAT!! :) We always walk... even at the end of a tiresome day, we've never considered it a long enough walk to transfer to the other monorail.

Walking is definitely faster.
But,
don't discount the advantage of riding all the way around. Especially if you have children the age that are fascinated with trains, etc.

We always walk, especially if you have a room that is between the Great Ceremonial House and the TTC, it can be just as long of a walk from the GCH monorail stop. They will probably give you a map when you check in, it should show how to get there on the map. If you walk in the right direction, though, you should be able to find it.
