poly reservation help

I am going down on October 6th and staying to the 11th. The poly is sold out the 6 and the 7th, I have reservations from the 8th to the 11th. I was down in August and I seen they were about half way done with the rehab of theTokelau building. Does anyone know how this building is coming or if there is anuwhere else to get a room reserved. I call resevation 3 times a day to see if there has been any cancellations and travelocity, expedia etc are gone also. I booked a back up at the yacht club but I am very into the poly! I know should have booked earlier, haha

I am not sure what Tokelau has to do wit no availability but Tokelau is expected to open the beginning of October and they will not commit to an exact date because they do not know. Things are on schedule but they are not even close to completing the 1st floor. The 2nd and 3rd floors are coming along well and are almost done.

If the Polynesian managment does not have a date than no one else will.

You cannot reserve a room in a specific longhouse and if they system says they are full it does take into account the schedule for the buildings being worked on and it will allow booking in those rooms when they know the date it will open. Until then they will be blocked off in September and October.
