Yes, both pools get very crowded by early afternoon. There are more lounge chairs at the Lava pool (the pool by the beach) than the Oasis pool. There are also chairs on the beach, but they are outside the pool fence.

I would think some of the problem has been solved due to the fact that there is a fence now, and you must be a resort guest in order to use the pool.

In some ways the fence may have made things a little worse at the main pool. In the past there was more pool deck space by the beach and of course there were lounge chairs on the beach. It was relatively easy to grab one of the beach lounge chairs and use it while using the pool. Now with the fence it is awkward to go from the beach to the pool so that option really isn't there.

We were there last month and found that as long as we were there by mid morning we were able to find seating. It may not have been in the location we wanted but oh well. The biggest problem we ran into was folks saving loungers and tables early in the morning. For instance, one morning 1 person saved 13 loungers and a table!!! And, of course, they were the loungers right up front where I would have sat in order to keep an eye on my kids. I never saw 13 people with him for most of that day!! I also had a lady remove our things from a table and take it over!! It does get crowded later in the afternoon but it was always fairly hot towards the end of our stay so I figured that brought people back from the parks. Our favorite times were late evening, say around dusk, when the pools cleared out! We'd basically have the oasis pool to ourselves!
