Poly MonoRail question

I was wondering - Is it closer for people staying at Rapa Nui and Tahiti long houses to use the TTC instead of the Poly's monorail station?

Is it common to do so? I guess it wouldn't make too much sense on the way to MK but on the way back?

Definitely closer. Might want to consider taking the MK ferry instead of the Monorail. We did and it was a pleasant trip and NO WAITING!

Yeah, I don't know the layout of the Poly as far as what the different buildings are called, but I've walked from the Poly monorail station to TTC plenty of times and there are definitely parts of the Poly that are closer to TTC than to the Poly's own monorail station.

Works the other way too, by the way. If you leave MK after Wishes, the "Express" monorail that goes only to TTC has a much longer line than does the resort monorail, but they also run more trains and there are obviously fewer stops, and it can therefore sometimes (not always) be a shorter wait than for the resort monorail. We usually do just the opposite (MK to Poly via resort monorail then walk to TTC), because it's a nice walk at night through the grounds of the Poly.

Yep, that's what we did when we stayed there, much closer than the Poly station; it's just a short walk down a nice path.

I stayed at Rapa Nui on my honeymoon and always used the TTC monorail. The path is right outside the door, it was really quick.

I'm thinking about asking for the centrally located Tokelau, and was going to ask for the Tahiti as the back up as I was looking at the resort map it just occured to me that the TTC was closer.

We've stayed in Tahiti twice and always walked to the TTC for transportation. In additon to the monorail, we used the buses from the TTC to AK and the Studios. The Poly shares buses for those 2 parks with other MK area resorts, but from the TTC it is a direct ride straight to the park. Saved quite a bit of time.

I have stayed in Tahiti a few times and it is a short walk down the path to the TTC. I would always go to the GCH first thing in the morning and get some Tonga Toast and then back to the room before heading out for the day.
