Poly Concierge

My husband and I are planning our January trip and we are looking to stay at the Poly. I want to stay concierge level but the jump in rates for next year is crazy! Has anyone stayed lately? What did you think? We were there 4 years ago and didn't think it was worth the extra money.

Prices are going up, but compared to the other deluxe resorts it isn't that bad. I give everyone the same advice though when it comes to concierge. No one can tell you whether or not it is worth it. Everything there depends on personal needs and preferences. You have to decide whether or not you are going to use enough of the ammenities to justify the cost. If you think that you are going to be able to take advantage of what it offers then give it a shot. If you don't think that you are going to make it worthwhile, then take the money and spend it on other aspects of your vacation.

My wife and I enjoy Conceirge service but don't feel the NEED to do it every trip.

We only do conceirge on special occasions.

We have stayed at the Polynesian Conceirge level once in the Hawaii Longhouse because it was my wife's Birthday.
While we Loved our stay, I doubt we will do it again. It was one of those "I want to try it once just to see what it's like" things.

We have also done the Contemporary resort Conceirge (Tower Club) twice (Honeymoon and 10th Anniversary) and while we always enjoyed it, we have just as much fun staying in a North Garden wing room.

It's all about the attitude...and The Magic!
