This is the second draft of my Disney Theme Park proposal. In Draft #2, I am trying to give this park a few more original attractions. If it seems to similar, remember that the vast majority of attractions at each Disney park are basically the same. You will see several brand new ideas, plus a revision of the MK's Land sections. Before we get to that, I have a poll with this post.

I'm trying to decide which castle to use. My first choice by far is Cinderella's Castle, but I'm wondering it if is too similar to the castle at WDW. So far, 2 parks have Cinderella's Castle (WDW in Orlando & Tokyo), and 3 parks have/will have Sleeping Beauty's castle (DL Anaheim, Paris, and upon opening, Hong Kong). Oddly enough, each SB castle is different (DL Paris has a completely different design from Anaheim, whereas HK's park will be a larger and more elaborate verison of the Anaheim castle); OTOH, Cinderella's castles at WDW and in Tokyo are identical. I thought about Snow White's and Beauty and the Beast; but upon the castles in the cartoons, they don't appear to fit in too well. For instance, Snow White's castle is much plainer (set in an earlier time period that Cinerella or B&TB) and has a rather odd shape to it (perhaps the reason it was never used in Disney parks), and Beauty & the Beast's castle looks more like a Main Street building than a fairy-tale castle. If the latter 2 castles were to be used, they would both need a little redesigning and minor adjustments; as in the case of HK DL's Sleeping Beauty Castle, which to me looks like a combination of the Anaheim and Orlando castles!

Pesonally, my first choice would be Cinderella's, which, of all the Disney castles, IMHO can't be beat in terms of design and appearance. I guess if that was too much like WDW, even that can get a facelift, much like the HK castle!

Now, back to my second draft. First of all, Liberty Square was thrown out completely, since it was almost exactly like WDW's LS. The American Adventure in LS was thrown out completely, and the remaining attractions were move to different land Here is what I now have so far:

Phase 1: THE MAGIC KINGDOM

Main Street, USA:
1.) City Hall
2.) The Disney Gallery
3.) (name of park) Railroad
4.) The Hall of Presidents
5.) Main Street Vehicles
6.) Penny Arcade
7.) a completely new presentation telling Walt Disney's life story, his legacy, and about the building and opening of the Disney theme parks over the years. Since The Walt Disney Story and Walt Disney: One Man's Dream have been taken, can someone help me find a title for this?

Adventureland:
1.) 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
2.) Enchanted Tiki Room (not sure of which version to use, since I've never been to Disneyland or WDW. However, it's more than likely that this version would be different from either the original or WDW's "Under New Management" version, since I'm trying to de-emphasize similarities to the 2 existing parks!)
3.) Indiana Jones: Temple of the Crystal Skull
4.) Jungle Cruise (this is a new version of the DL & WDW attractions, with a number of different show scenes and attractions)
5.) Magic Carpets of Aladdin
6.) Pirates of the Carribean (similar to the extended version seen at DL Anaheim)
7.) Tarzan's Treehouse

Critter Country:
Before listing rides and attractions, I'd like to remind you again that I've thrown LIberty Square out, because it made the park too similar to WDW's Magic Kingdom. With this revision, this MK now have 7 lands (5 main lands and 2 smaller "back lands", as in the case of WDW and Tokyo DL; FYI, DL Anaheim has 8 and DL Paris has 6). Now, here are the rides/attractions:

1.) Country Bears Jamboree (original show seen at WDW)
2.) It's Tough to Be a Bug
3.) Splash Mountain
4.) The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Discoveryland:
This is basically Tommorrowland, with a few EPCOT-like attractions thrown in. I chose Discoveryland over Tommorrowland to make the park different from the others (only DL Paris used this title), and to provide a more diverse section with less likelyhood of becoming outdated! Here is what I now have for Discoveryland:

1.) Astro-Orbiter
2.) Autotopia (I may use a different title for this attraction in case this is too similar; as in the case of WDW, which calls their attraction Tommorrowland Indy Speedway. What do you think?)
3.) Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
4.) Cosmic Waves
5.) Discoveryland Theater
6.) Discoveryland Transit Authority
7.) The Earth: This is a completely original attraction, which gives guests a visual and interactive journey through the Earth's wonders-- with an emphasis on people and animals' realtionship with the Earth on which they live. Sort of like The Land, with little or no emphasis on food!!! Among the attractions, includes:
a.) Behind the Seeds-- or something similar, possibly with a new title.
b.) Circle of Life: Since this attraction deals with the Earth and its enviroment, I decided to throw this in.
c.) The Earth Ride-- a mechanical ride which goes with the attraction's theming.
d.) a multi-story indoor tropical rain forest habitat, with exotic plants, birds, small animals, waterfalls, and large rock formations!

8.) Horizons (a number of people were complaining about this being taken out of EPCOT on the WDW General Discussion board, so I decided to throw this in!)
9.) Imageworks-- since I'm trying to make this park more original, I threw out JII where this is located at EPCOT, and gave Imageworks a building all its own-- I would say at least double the size of EPCOT's attraction. In addition to (some of) the same attractions as EPCOT (the Touching Tones dance floor will be included here, since it's a favorite), the additional attractions will include:
a.) Captain EO: The Next Generation -- This is a sequel to the original Cpt.EO, where Michael Jackson takes on a brand new 3-D adventure!
b.) The Rainbow Corridor: This was an attraction I always wanted to see but never will since it was recently taken out, IIRC! : frown:   , etc.

10.) Innoventions
11.) Journey to the Center of the Earth
12.) The Living Seas-- includes the following:
a.) Carribean Coral Reef Ride (no longer at WDW!)
b.) Sea Base Alpha
c.) Sea Base Concourse
d.) Ocean Touch Pool-- where guests get a "hands on" experience in touching and handling ocean specimens. (harmless ones of course!)
e.) Wave Machine: a machine that "manufactures" ocean waves with salt water and a sand surface.
13.) Mission: Space
14.) Orbitron
15.) Space Mountain
16.) Stitch's Alen Encounter (different from ExtraTERRORestrial AE at WDW and MUCH less intense for the younger guests!)
17.) The Time Maker
18.) Universe of Energy-- includes:
a.) Energy Exchange: an updated version of the former Communicore attraction, taken out when Innoventions replaced Communicore at WDW's EPCOT.
b.) Universe of Energy Ride: COMPLETELY different from EPCOT attraction; among other things, Ellen DeGeneres is replaced by the gang from Monsters, Inc.!

Fantasyland:
1.) Ariel's Grotto
2.) Beauty and the Beast dark ride
3.) Castle(?)-- see poll
4.) Cinderella's Golden Carousel
5.) Dumbo the Flying Elephant
6.) Fantasyland Stage-- in front of the castle, featuring among other things, Cinderella's (or whoever's castle is used) Surprise Celebration
7.) Hercules' High-Flying Adventure (roller coaster)
8.) It's a Small World
9.) The Little Mermaid dark ride
10) Mad Tea Party
11.) Mickey Mouse Revue (similar to former WDW attraction now at Tokyo DL)
12.) Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
13.) The Old Mill Ferris Wheel: a ferris wheel shaped like a windmill (I checked my tape of the 1937 Silly Symphony on which this ride is based on; which refreshed my memory, this was a windmill and not a grist mill as I said earlier!) :brick:
14.) Peter Pan's Flight
15.) Pinocchio's Daring Journey
16.) Sleeping Beauty dark ride
17.) Snow White's Scary Adventures

Frontierland:
1.) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
2.) Davy Crokett's Explorer Canoes
3.) Frontierland Riverboat
4.) Frontierland Shootin' Arcade
5.) The Haunted Mansion
6.) Pocahontas Island (a mini-section within Frontierland, similar to Tom Sawyer's Island) includes:
a.) 17th Century Jamestown, VA settlement recreation
b.) Enchanted Glade play area
c.) Indian Village, with Ceremonial Dance Circle (much like the long-gone DL Anaheim attraction)
d.) Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends
7.) Woody's Saloon Revue

Mickey's Toontown
1.) Chip 'n Dale's Treehouse
2.) Donald's Boat
3.) Goofy's Barnstormer (may have slight differences from WDW)
4.) Jolly Trolley
5.) Mickey's House
6.) Minnie's House
7.) Professor Ludwig Von Drake's House of Genius (based loosely on an earlier proposal)
8.) Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin
9.) Scrooge McDuck's Money Bin (play area based on Scrooge's immense money bin, which also includes a "meet and greet" area that Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Scrooge McDuck have for themselves!)
10.) Toontown Hall of Fame

Parades:
1.) Afternoon Parade: not sure (could you please help me out?), but I am kind of partial to "Share a Dream Come True" with the snowglobes, and I have no idea what parade DL Anaheim runs in the afternoon. However, I'm sure that it will be something different from either park, anyway!
2.) Night Time Parade: Main Street Electrical Parade, but a slightly updated version.

Phase 2 park:
This second park includes an actual working movie/TV/animation studio, along with a smaller section with rides generally more intense than the rides in the Magic Kindgom. My original proposal for Phase 2 was a bit too much like an overgrown California Adventure, so I revised a number of attractions. Here is what I now have for my Phase 2 park:

Disney Studios-- not necessarily the offical title, but will have a different name from Disney-MGM and Walt Disney Studios in Paris. This is an actual working studio, with six soundstages (double the number at Disney-MGM), a backlot, and an animation studio, plus room for expansion:
1.) Aladdin's Musical Adventure (I chose Aladdin to offer something different, since WDW has Hunchback of Notre Dame)
2.) Animagic (similar to Animagique at DL Paris)
3.) Armageddon Special Effects Stage
4.) Catastrophe Canyon
5.) Cinemagic (similar to Cinemagique at DL Paris)
6.) Disney Studio 1; consisting of:
a.) Sound Studio: a mock SFX studio, where guests add sound effects to various Disney Cartoons
b.) TV Zone: much like the now-defunct Disney-MGM attraction; where guests put themselves into various TV shows, both classic and current, and interact with the characters!
7.) Earffel Tower: this is a real water tower for the studio, unlike the giant prop at Disney-MGM
8.) Fantasmic!
9.) Festival of the Lion King
10.) The Great Movie Ride (with primarily different movie scenes from the WDW attraction.)
11.) Harry Potter ride/attraction of some sort
12.) Hollywood Wax Museum: a much scaled-down sample of the actual museum in Hollywood, with an emphasis on Disney actors and characters.
13.) Honey I Shrunk the Audience
14.) Hyperion Theater (should this have a different name?)
15.) Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular (even though WDW has this attraction at Disney-MGM, I think this is one of their very best attractions, and therefore included this here!)
15.) Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3-D
16.) Magic of Disney Animation: an actual animation studio, on a larger scale that the WDW, DL Anaheim, and DL Paris counterparts; divided into the following sections:
a.) Cel Animation: Since Michael Eisner decided to terminate traditional 2-D cel animation on a regular basis; this would be used mainly for demonstration purposes, animated cartoons for ABC Televsion and The Disney Channel, as well as an occasional 2-D short to accompany Disney's feature film releases.
b.) 3-D Computer Animation: This will be the largest section of the building and the studio's main product, along with demonstrations as well.
c.) Claymation: A clay animation exhibit, with demonstrations. Primarily used for demonstration purposes, since Disney has used, or plans to use, very little of this product.
17.) Residential Street
18.) Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Courtroom: A 3-D interactive cartoon where YOU are the jury and Roger Rabbit is the judge!
19.) Star Tours
20.) Studio Tour: Behind the Scenes
21.) Television Production Tour
22.) That's Entertainment! Hollywood Gallery: similar to The Disney Gallery, but with exhibits from the rest of Hollywood (TV, movies, and possibly music as well!)
23.) Tron: The Ride (similar to an earlier proposal on this board)
24.) Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Play It!

Unnamed themed area: This was what I originally titled Paradise Pier, but this was too much like the California Adventure section. Can someone PLEASE help me find a name for this area?
1.) Aquatopia
2.) Benny the Cab dodgems/bumper cars
3.) Swing Ride, much like the rides in many traditional amusement parks (DL's CA has Oranger Stinger, BTW) I was considering a
Mary Poppins theme, where guests ride in swings shaped like umbrellas! Could anyone please help me with this?
4.) Golden Zephyr
5.) Herbie the Love Bug themed wild mouse-like coaster
6.) Hercules' Test of Strength (similar to Mailboomer, but with a Hercules theme, where an animatronic Hercules bangs his hammer onto the platform, sending riders to ring the bell on top!)
7.) Hook's Revenge: modeled after Captain Hook's ship; swings riders backward and forward before completing a series of 360-degree rotations at 33 feet per second. Similar to The Gauntlet, now Rocket Power Air Time at Paramount's Carowinds, seen in pics at the below URL's:
http://www.carowinds.com/attractions_rides_featured.jsp?id=544023
http://www.coastertown.com/Paramount/Carowinds/OldWorld/Gauntlet01.htm

8.)Jumpin' Jellyfish
9.)King Neptune's Spinning Trident: Basically a Disney version of the Scrambler; with three rotating arms holding four spinning seats apiece.
10.) Lilo & Stitch Surfing Coaster
11.) Midway Games
12.) Pecos Bill's Round Up (much like the amusement park ride, but included ride cars for the passengers to sit in, instead of stand up on the edge. An example can be found on the Sream Weaver at Carowinds-- pic in below URL:
http://www.coastertown.com/Paramount/Carowinds/Waynes/Scream03.htm
However, Pecos Bill's will retain the traditional washtub shape of the Round Up ride!
13.) Sky Tower (a better name, anyone?): This is a 300+ foot tall observation tower, why gives guests a panoramic view of the park from a great height.
14.) River Rapids ride similar to Kali River Rapids in WDW AK and Grizzly Ride Ride in DL's CA. Need a new name, anyone?
15.) Scream Machine--similar to California Screamin' at DL's CA, but it mayneed a somewhat different design if it's too similar.
However, I would like to retain the "Mickey" track on the side of the coaster!
16.) Sinbad's 7 Voyages (but in English instead of Japanese! :D )
17.) The Whirlpool-- different from Tokyo DisneySea attraction, in which the teacups are replaced with Tilt-a-Whirl cars, which spin around (faster if riders pull the level towards them!) The basic design and the "under the sea" artwork, will be similar, however.

Parades:
A Hollywood-based parade similar to Disney Stars and Motor Cars, especially since this is a studio-themed park. I was also considering using Hollywood-based musical tunes for the parade; such as "Hooray for Hollywood" and "That's Entertainment", for example.

Also, there will be the fireworks at the end of the Fantasmic! stage show!

Well there you have it, a complete 2nd draft of my Disney theme park proposal! Any comments, questions, and/or feedback are welcome. If this doesn't seem professional enough for you, take into consideration that I've never been to WDW or other Disney parks, and most of you probably have; some of you have been many times! I really could use your help and feedback, so feel free to post. Also remember to answer the poll about the castle!
:)

Sleeping Beauty castle is ugly. LOL (I never saw the movie and I dont want to). WDW is majastic and grand. That would be my second choice. But Beauty and the Beast looks like a real castle. I mean the size of it is huge. And then you have the separate towers and ivory and porches and stuff.

Offtopic but I'm making a Lord of the Rings castle

looks good so far.Exsesielly for someone who hasen't been to any disney parks. keep up the good work.:sohappy: i think you should get ride of some of the attractions in Discoveryland since there is so much things in that area. You can even make that another park. That would probably be your best bet so you don't have to get ride of any attractions.

I was curious how you became a disney fan with ever going to a disney park? just curious. If you don't mind telling you can PM me the story. thanks.

LOL! Sorry, but I must laugh. 18 Attractions in Discovery/Tommorow Land? Including THREE pavillions (FOUR if you count Mission Space). 17 for fantasy land?

Outside of that flaw, the rest sounds good, with the exception of
"20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" in Adventureland...that should go into the already overcroweded Discoveryland.

82 rides and attractions!!! I would love it, but it's WAY to unrealistic. Even Tokyo Disney Sea which was built with a blank cheque doesn't have that many rides (23 i think).

43 rides and attractions for your studios!! 125 attractions in TWO PARKS!! I doubt all of WDW, Tokyo Disneyland (both parks) and DLP don't have that many attractions.

Uhhh... yea too many rides. In case you havn't figured out, the castles aren't the exact castles from the movies. They are changed A LOT! Sleeping Beauty Castle (notice it is Sleeping BEAUTY not Sleeping BEAUTY'S) is based on the NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE is Germany. http://www.castles.org/castles/Europe/Central_Europe/Germany/germany7.htm that has some pics of the castle and some info about it. Cinderella Castle is based on one in Bolvaria I believe, but I can't remember what it is called. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know!:D

I like DLP's castle. But I think you should do Snow White's castle.. I am so sick of it being Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty castle. I was hoping that HKDL was going to do something different, but no, yet another Sleeping Beauty castle. :(

But yeah, you should do Snow White's castle and have it resemble DLP's castle with all its.. uh.. swirlyness. :D

The Beauty and The Beast Castle is the best. But the one after the Beast is transformed back to a human is the one you should use.

I also believe Discoveryland is too much filled with attractions. There definitely can not be Space Mountain AND Journey To The Centre of The Earth. Most of the EPCOT attractions like Horizons, The Earth, Imageworks, and the Universe of Energy need to be cut out. The only EPCOT attraction there should be is Mission:Space. No Innoventions either.

The Toontown should be most all about Roger Rabbit or take him out and just go with Mickey characters. Create a Roger Rabbit themed land at the Studios.

PLEASE take out Snow White's Scary Adventures, one of the worst rides created if you ask me.

I still have reservations about your Paradise Pier type area at the Studios. If this is a real working studio,it should not include things like that. It needs to be a seperate park at least, themed to a boardwalk or something.

Not True, it was not built with a blank cheque. That is a common misconception. There were cut corners, but there was more than enough money avaliable. DisneySea Symphony is a sad example of a cut corner where they oviously had money. - The WeirdOne :D

Which castle is this? Do you have a URL for a photo on the Internet?

I disagree with you on this one. Discoveryland is not a Tommorrowland clone, but a more versatile area based on Tommorrowland with a few EPCOT attractions thrown in.
BTW, DL Anaheim has Innoventions; a smaller scaled-down verison of the EPCOT attraction. Innoventions, as well as Mission: Space and Imageworks will be scaled down to a smaller size (I'd say about twice the size of DL's Innoventions, at the very most). The Earth would be smaller as well-- approximately the size of DL's Innoventions at the smallest to about twice the size at the largest. Horizons and Universe of Energy will be thrown out completely. I am currently revising my proposal, which I'll have posted in my next reply to this thread.

However, I was thinking the same think as everyone else; that there are too many attractions for one park when I revised this draft last night! I certainly do agree with you there!

The Toontown should be most all about Roger Rabbit or take him out and just go with Mickey characters. Create a Roger Rabbit themed land at the Studios.

Actually Toontown is themed to be the world/homeland to all the comical-type cartoon characters; as in the other Disney parks. So IMHO, it's fine the way it is.

FYI, World Showcase is completely unlike Futureworld at EPCOT,
where the rest of the attraction lie. If that can be done, I can see why the Paradise Pier rides can fit as well. BTW, I was actually revising the Phase 2 park to be more like Universal Studios, which includes amusement-type rides, IIRC, than like California Adventure.

A few more revisions:

Thanks to your suggestions, I made a few revisions to my Disney theme park proposal. BTW, I came up with the conclusion that there were too many rides/attractions last night before any of you told me! With this revision, The Magic Kingdom now has 63 rides andattractions; roughly the same number as DL Anaheim (60 rides & attractions within a smaller space than WDW's Magic Kingdom-- 87 acres as opposed to the MK's 107 acres) Also this Magic Kingdom will be larger than both parks-- not sure of the exact size, but it will be at least the size of DL Paris (138 acres).
Here is what I now have for you:

4.) Discoveryland Theater
5.) Discoveryland Transit Authority
6.) The Earth: This is a completely original attraction, which gives guests a visual and interactive journey through the Earth's wonders-- with an emphasis on people and animals' realtionship with the Earth on which they live.
I could incorporate a few feature of Journey to the Center of the Earth into this ride.
d.) a multi-story indoor tropical rain forest habitat, with exotic plants, birds, small animals, waterfalls, and large rock formations!
7.) Imageworks, featuring Honey I Shrunk the Audience: since I'm trying to make this park more original, I threw out JII where this is located at EPCOT, and gave Imageworks a building all its own. In addition to (some of) the same attractions as EPCOT (the Touching Tones dance floor will be included here, since it's a favorite), the additional attractions will include:
a.) Honey I Shrunk the Audience
b.) The Rainbow Corridor: This was an attraction I always wanted to see but never will since it was recently taken out, IIRC!  , etc.
8.) Innoventions (this and all other EPCOT attractions will be scaled down to a smaller size; approximately the size of Disneyland Anaheim's Innoventions at the smallest to about twice that size at the very most. The Earth will be about the same size as well. Not sure about The Living Seas, which would probably be larger than the others due to the massive aquarium tank! However, this Innoventions, even though much smaller, would have better quality attractions that DL; more like a sample of what you'd find at EPCOT with a similar quality to them.)
9.) The Living Seas-- includes the following:
a.) Carribean Coral Reef Ride (no longer at WDW!)
b.) Sea Base Alpha.
10.) Mission: Space
11.) Space Mountain
12.) The Time Maker

Fantasyland:
1.) Ariel's Grotto
2.) Castle(?)-- see poll
3.) Cinderella's Golden Carousel
4.) Dumbo the Flying Elephant
5.) Hercules' High-Flying Adventure (roller coaster)
6.) It's a Small World
7.) Mad Tea Party
8.) Mickey Mouse Revue (similar to former WDW attraction now at Tokyo DL)
9.) Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
10.) The Old Mill Ferris Wheel: a ferris wheel shaped like a windmill (I checked my tape of the 1937 Silly Symphony on which this ride is based on; which refreshed my memory, this was a windmill and not a grist mill as I said earlier!) :brick:
11.) Peter Pan's Flight
12.) Pinocchio's Daring Journey
13.) Sleeping Beauty dark ride
14.) Snow White's Scary Adventures (this ride may be inside the castle if SW's castle were used)

Frontierland:
1.) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
2.) Davy Crokett's Explorer Canoes
3.) Frontierland Riverboat
4.) Frontierland Shootin' Arcade
5.) The Haunted Mansion
6.) Pocahontas Island (a mini-section within Frontierland, similar to Tom Sawyer's Island) includes:
a.) 17th Century Jamestown, VA settlement recreation
b.) Enchanted Glade play area
c.) Indian Village, with Ceremonial Dance Circle (much like the long-gone DL Anaheim attraction)
d.) Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends
7.) Woody's Saloon Revue

Mickey's Toontown
1.) Donald's Boat
2.) Goofy's Barnstormer (may have slight differences from WDW)
3.) Jolly Trolley
4.) Mickey's House
5.) Minnie's House
6.) Professor Ludwig Von Drake's House of Genius (based loosely on an earlier proposal)
7.) Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin
8.) Scrooge McDuck's Money Bin (play area based on Scrooge's immense money bin, which also includes a "meet and greet" area that Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Scrooge McDuck have for themselves!)
9.) Toontown Hall of Fame

2.) Armageddon Special Effects Stage
3.) Disney Studio 1; consisting of:
a.) Sound Studio: a mock SFX studio, where guests add sound effects to various Disney Cartoons
b.) TV Zone: much like the now-defunct Disney-MGM attraction; where guests put themselves into various TV shows, both classic and current, and interact with the characters!
4.) Earffel Tower: this is a real water tower for the studio, unlike the giant prop at Disney-MGM
5.) Fantasmic!
6.) Festival of the Lion King
7.) The Great Movie Ride (with primarily different movie scenes from the WDW attraction.)
8.) Harry Potter ride/attraction of some sort
9.) Hollywood Wax Museum: a much scaled-down sample of the actual museum in Hollywood, with an emphasis on Disney actors and characters.
10.) Hyperion Theater (should this have a different name?)
11.) Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular (even though WDW has this attraction at Disney-MGM, I think this is one of their very best attractions, and therefore included this here!)
12.) Jim Henson's Muppet*Vision 3-D
13.) Magic of Disney Animation: an actual animation studio, on a larger scale that the WDW, DL Anaheim, and DL Paris counterparts; divided into the following sections:
a.) Cel Animation: Since Michael Eisner decided to terminate traditional 2-D cel animation on a regular basis; this would be used mainly for demonstration purposes, animated cartoons for ABC Televsion and The Disney Channel, as well as an occasional 2-D short to accompany Disney's feature film releases.
b.) 3-D Computer Animation: This will be the largest section of the building and the studio's main product, along with demonstrations as well.
c.) Claymation: A clay animation exhibit, with demonstrations. Primarily used for demonstration purposes, since Disney has used, or plans to use, very little of this product.
14.) Residential Street
15.) Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Courtroom: A 3-D interactive cartoon where YOU are the jury and Roger Rabbit is the judge!
16.) Star Tours
17.) Studio Tour: Behind the Scenes
18.) That's Entertainment! Hollywood Gallery: similar to The Disney Gallery, but with exhibits from the rest of Hollywood (TV, movies, and possibly music as well!)
19.) Tron: The Ride (similar to an earlier proposal on this board)
20.) Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Play It!

Unnamed themed area: This was what I originally titled Paradise Pier, but this was too much like the California Adventure section. Can someone PLEASE help me find a name for this area?
1.) Aquatopia
2.) Golden Zephyr
3.) Herbie the Love Bug themed wild mouse-like coaster
4.) Hercules' Test of Strength (similar to Mailboomer, but with a Hercules theme, where an animatronic Hercules bangs his hammer onto the platform, sending riders to ring the bell on top!)
5.) Hook's Revenge: modeled after Captain Hook's ship; swings riders backward and forward before completing a series of 360-degree rotations at 33 feet per second. Similar to The Gauntlet, now Rocket Power Air Time at Paramount's Carowinds, seen in pics at the below URL's:
http://www.carowinds.com/attractions_rides_featured.jsp?id=544023
http://www.coastertown.com/Paramount/Carowinds/OldWorld/Gauntlet01.htm
6.)Jumpin' Jellyfish
7.)King Neptune's Spinning Trident: Basically a Disney version of the Scrambler; with three rotating arms holding four spinning seats apiece.
8.) Lilo & Stitch Surfing Coaster
9.) Midway Games
10.) Pecos Bill's Round Up (much like the amusement park ride, but included ride cars for the passengers to sit in, instead of stand up on the edge. An example can be found on the Sream Weaver at Carowinds-- pic in below URL:
http://www.coastertown.com/Paramount/Carowinds/Waynes/Scream03.htm
However, Pecos Bill's will retain the traditional washtub shape of the Round Up ride!
11.) Sky Tower (a better name, anyone?): This is a 300+ foot tall observation tower, why gives guests a panoramic view of the park from a great height.
12.) River Rapids ride similar to Kali River Rapids in WDW AK and Grizzly Ride Ride in DL's CA. Need a new name, anyone?
13.) Scream Machine--similar to California Screamin' at DL's CA, but it mayneed a somewhat different design if it's too similar.
However, I would like to retain the "Mickey" track on the side of the coaster!
14.) Sinbad's 7 Voyages (but in English instead of Japanese! :D )
15.) The Whirlpool-- different from Tokyo DisneySea attraction, in which the teacups are replaced with Tilt-a-Whirl cars, which spin around (faster if riders pull the level towards them!) The basic design and the "under the sea" artwork, will be similar, however.

Parades:
A Hollywood-based parade similar to Disney Stars and Motor Cars, especially since this is a studio-themed park. I was also considering using Hollywood-based musical tunes for the parade; such as "Hooray for Hollywood", "We're In the Money", "There's No Business Like Show Business", and "That's Entertainment", just to name a few!

Last but certainly not least, there will be the fireworks at the end of the Fantasmic! stage show!

Well there you go-- this is my latest revision; based largely on your posts to some extent! Once again, thanks so much for replying and I still need your feedback, so continue to post your questions/comments/suggestions Also remember the poll about the castle! :)

I haven't looked at a Disneyland map in a while, BUT, the Magic Kingdom map claims the information board is an attraction...Just something to think about. (The new revision is better, if you're going for the greatest disney park ever, the more rides, the better, but if realism...i'd cut a few more out).

And wierdone, i know they didn't build it with a blank cheque, no company would ever do this, they would definetly run into the red, BUT, I say blank cheque because it had such a huge buget that it was like they had unlimited funds. Their tower of terror is going to cost $180 million? and DCA's is what...$50?

The Castles

Interestingly enough, I learned that Sleeping Beauty Castle at DL Anaheim was originally to be called Snow White's Castle, but was changed to promote the impending release of Sleeping Beauty shortly before Disneyland opened.

Oddly enough, DL's castle looks nothing like either castle in the cartoons!

As for my personal preferences, my first choice is Cinderella's Castle, which IMHO, can't be beat in appearance! Earlier on, I made my first choice for the location of the 6th park, if Disney ever should build another theme park-- Hawaii if in the U.S. and Australia if international. Since Disney already has 3 Sleeping Beauty Castles (Anaheim, Paris, and soon in Hong Kong); and 2 Cinderella's Castle (WDW in Orlando and Tokyo), Cinderella's Castle should work fine for Australia. Not sure about Hawaii, though.

Just thought you'd like to know! :)

Well, they're not really supposed to. They need to look a bit more enchanting and more interesting.

If you make a Beauty and the Beast castle, it'll need to look like the castle after the spell was broken, so it looks more happy.

20000 Leagues Under the Sea does not belong in Adventure land. Sure, it went in Fantaseyland, but that was a bad idea in my opinion because even though Fantaseyland's rides are based off disney movies, this one kind of doesn't have magic or enchantment. Adventureland's theme is discovering remote jungles and places of the world around the 1930s. Since its based on Science fiction, you could put it in Discoveryland.

Ok, a new Captain Eo starring Micheal Jackson?! NO way! Noone would see it because Micheal Jackson is now a joke because he's been practicly bleached white and looks odd. I suggest that you get rid of it.

Last of all, you have WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too many rides and attractions. They have to be spread out so that if somone wanted to see everything in one day, they could.

I really dont believe educational attractions belong in Discoveryland as you have put Epcot attractions in. Keep it to this list of attractions-

Astro Orbiter
Autotopia
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Discoveryland Theatre
Discoveryland Transit Authority
Honey, I Shrunk The Audience (make it updated also)
Mission: Space
The Timekeeper
Space Mountain (Disneyland Paris version)

And ones you forgot-

Stitch Encounter
Star Tours

Educational attractions really belong in a place like Epcot. Also, Innoventions does not attract everyone and I myself think it should be torn out of Epcot. It is very boring and is a waste of space.

Also, have you thought about maybe keeping it Tomorrowland? Discoveryland doesn't sound right and should be in place of Future World at Epcot.

In Toontown, I believe Goofy's Barnstormer should be replaced by Gadget's Go Coaster as it is a bit more rough.

BTW, I did find a GREAT pic of B&TB castle on the URL below:

Not sure if this the castle after the spell was broken or not-- could someone help me out with this? Also, I couldn't find pics of the other side of the castle anywhere on the Internet-- LMK if anyone knows of a link showing both sides!

Did you read my reply entitled "A Few More Revisions"? I cut out a large number of the rides and attractions, including about 1/3 of the attractions in Discoveryland. So far, the Magic Kingdom now has 63 rides and attractions; roughly the same number as DL Anaheim. Also, this MK is much larger than DL Anaheim and even WDW's MK -- approx. 138 acres, roughly the same as DL Paris.

Make the castle look different from the others - I think that every park should have a different looking castle - kind of that park's signature. You can always choose a different name, since the castles are at best only vaguely remeniscent of the film versions.

The Tiki Birds could use a whole new script. There is something about the existing ones, but I am not sure you could really reproduce that, so go with something a little different there, too.

And if you are bringing back the Epcot Lost Rides, be sure to update them - we miss them, but they were a little out of date!.

I would seriously think about another park, again be a little daring and do something completly diffferent. You could move some of those rides - particulalry some of the Discoveryland Rides - over there.

I was planning to design my B&TB Castle somewhat like the Disneyland Paris castle-- with the elaborate, colorful architechture, but with features from the castle in the cartoon. (after the transformation, of course!)

BTW, my list of rides and attractions on this thread is very out-of-date! I never imagined anyone would reply to a 6-month-old thread. Since then, I have designed and posted maps of each section, or "land", in my Magic Kingdom park. I also recently posted an updated version list of rides and attractions for my Disney Studios park.
As for the Paradise Pier-like area, not sure what I'll do with that!

More than likely, I'll probably have a completely different show from either Disneyland or WDW! WDW's is more up-to-date with characters and effects, but many think that the new show's plotline is weak and has been known to scare younger children. Mine would probably be more like Disneyland's show, but updated with the newer characters and more up-to-date (but less intimidating) effects and updated animatronics.

So far, all I have from EPCOT now is The Living Seas, Innoventions, and Imageworks, featuring Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Innoventions is scaled down considerably in size from EPCOT's. Imageworks is also scaled down, with mostly different attractions, and doesn't even include Journey Into Imagination. The Earth is a completely original attraction. It does have Circle of Life, which currently can be seen at EPCOT's The Land, and well as a series of greenhouses in something similar to Behind the Seeds, but focusing on the Earth and its plants instead of food like Behind the Seeds. The Earth focuses on The Earth in general as a planet; and people's, animals', and plants' relationship with the The Earth. The Land, OTOH, focuses on food-- COMPLETELY different focus!

The Living Seas with probably be the only EPCOT-like attraction similar in size and scope, mainly due to the large water tank. I really have no plans to built another EPCOT, since I designed my park from the standpoint as if it were in the U.S., and having the exact same parks as WDW would not only take away from WDW's business, but detract from this park's as well. Keep in mine that I'm not trying to create my park as a substitute for WDW-- more like an "in addition to" as opposed to an "instead of"!

In fact, in the early 1990's, Disney planned to build an EPCOT-like park called WestCOT at Disneyland. WestCOT was to span 470 acres (170 more than EPCOT), and include a 300 foot (in height and diameter) gateway called SpaceStation Earth; similar to EPCOT's Spaceship Earth, but much larger and gold instead of silver. However, they got nowhere; due to local citizens' concern over addition urban sprawl and overcrowding, as well as land price and lack of avaliable space. Over time, Disneyland's proposed 2nd park evolved into California Adventure. Just thought you'd like to know! :D
