There isn't the type of big money like there is in Orange County California. There is some, yes, but its nowhere on the level of OC. Which is why they have no issue selling out of Club 33 at $25k with $10k a year. But the locals in Orlando, by and large, don't have that kind of income. Those traveling to WDW would not be attending on a frequent basis like DL locals can. Thus, they are less likely to spend $25k + $10k extra for something they can't use all the time. Which, again, is why I said originally that it will be cheaper with many more members than DL.

That's crazy talk. There's plenty of money around here, especially when you leave the boundaries of Orlando proper and the tourist bubble. Remember, everything in Florida is relatively close to Orlando.

This is a list I brought over from the other thread by @MichWolv. If this is accurate these comps are equal to 10K a year as it is. Just throw in your intro fee.

I just never had the feeling that the type of people with this money were really avid Disney fans. Maybe it's just my experience here in NJ. I work in a very affluent area and most of the people with money are vacationing on the Cape,OBX or going to Europe. The target audience for NJ Disney vacationers seems like the top 20%, those with family income around 125-150K range.
You're looking at old information. In 2013 and 2015 they severely cut the perks because people were freely inviting non-members to use the Club 33 amenities. The LA Times has a good article about what the perks were cut to...

It is an add on and doesn't impact a guests trip BUUUT it does continue the perception to many that Disney is offering another thing that is outside of the average little guys ability to afford, and therefore to enjoy their trip to the level that others can.
I can't speak for others, but add-ons that don't impact the guest experience for everyone else don't bother me at all. I'm more than well aware that there are many people who can afford things that I can't, and I don't begrudge them that at all. I would venture to say most people feel similarly. It's when it impacts the typical experience that people start reacting.

Exactly, and that's why Disneyland's Club 33 has never been an issue -- it's so quiet and secretive that most guests probably don't know it exists, unless pointed out by a guide or tour. It's like the VIP clubs at EPCOT. Sure, I'd love to get up there and see it, but it's not affecting anyone's experience to not be able to visit something they don't know exists.

For the record, I am not a single mother, and I eat both raman noodles AND canned ravioli. And I like them!
You like them. No one has probably ever assumed that you had to eat them because you're a woman, with a child. Huge difference. This site is the only place I have ever heard such a ridiculous question/statements. Maybe they missed the whole women's movement years ago..maybe they think all women in the workforce are a man's secretary.. who knows.

Back to Club 33...

That's pretty much what I said. I would think that people with a large net worth, or corporations, would be joining this club. Not your annual Disney upper middle class vacationer.

You just gotta know a guy, ate there with someone who'd worked on Tower of Terror since it opened, with someone who was in charge of some costume department and a third time with a long time greeter

Where's the "i have no interest in this money grab at all" opinion ?
You just used it.

Frankly, and considering that this site is frequented by Disneyphiles, I didn't even consider a "no interest at all" option. Anyone who knows anything at all about Disney and loves the parks will be interested in Club(s) 33 and the prospect of their opening in Florida. The fact that you're here, reading the thread, and commenting on it, tells me you have at least some interest... I'm not being snarky, just being honest.

ETA: The best way to find out you're wrong is to say something here -- I originally asked how likely it was that the international Disney parks would wind up with Club(s) 33, and @Panda WDW indicated other parks already have them. So I searched (and searched again) and there are references to Club(s) 33 in Tokyo and Shanghai (if you look hard enough). Now, the question becomes: "Do Hong Kong and Paris already have Club(s) 33?"

I thought they had versions of 33 in other parks. I thought wdw was the last hold out.
The only other Club(s) 33 to which I can find references are Tokyo and Shanghai-- they already have them! Good call! Now -- do Paris and Hong Kong have a Club 33? Yes? No? Or are they just much better at hiding them...?

I would imagine they will find places for them in all parks

Not to be rude but could have googled it...

From Wikipedia.
Club 33 is a private club located in the heart of the New Orleans Square section of Disneyland. ... Club 33Members designate themselves and/or others to receive Premier Passports valid for Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Also quoting dosent seem to work on my phone :(

I'm definitely interested in this, I use to love going to Club 33 at DL but I will loose all interest in WDW's if there's a five year waiting list just to join the Club like at DL

You can probably bet there's already a waiting list, since the "information" email has been public for almost a week now...
