Point System help

I have 38 points, what does that mean? What does the entire point system mean? Can someone explain? I'm no newbie here and cannot for the life of me figure this thing out.

thanks that helps some, but, it still doesn't TRULY explain the point system and what each point means.

So are points bad? I have 38. If that's bad then i don't like the point system because I am the "forum debater" in that I love debates but I always handle myself appropriately. If the star thing ends up giving me a bad score then it tells me to never say anything that anyone disagrees with.

a + number is good, a - number means people don't think too highly of you.

For every 100 points, you'll get another green square next to your post count.

I have said it before (and I will say it again)...how you conduct yourself is more important than the rep points. Those are arbitrary...anyone can choose to give good or bad rep. I base my opinion on how a person conducts themselves...do you answer questions honestly & to the best of your ability? Are you nasty and start fights? Thats what matters to me. You will very rarely find two people with the exact same opinion and in a group as large as ours it will be near impossible. Just be yourself and have fun. :wave:

Some of my favorite forum members don't have more than one box. I try not to worry about them.

Roll over your green square and you will see that it says you have a good reputation.
