POFQ refrigerator

How big is the in-room-refrigerator at POFQ. We're planning on picking up a few items on the way from the airport and I'd just like to know what will fit.

I haven't seen those, but I would imagine they are all about the same size... Not quite the same as pictured, but you get the idea...

When you arrive in your rooom, check your refrigerator and make sure it's COLD!! Ours was lukewarm, but a call to the front desk brought help immediately, and all was well in no tiime.

I have stayed often at PO FQ and used the fridge and have never had a problem. They are small - the smaller version of the kind that people rent for their kids college dorm rooms. Half a gallon of milk - a few sodas, odds and ends, and they are full. I would venture to say that any of the items you need you can buy at the POFQ commissary (i.e. resort store) they stock all milk products, bread, cheese, cookies, chips, snacks, booze, etc.

There isnt much room in those little refridgerators and be careful with them. On our recent trip We filled ours with drinks and snacks,milk. etc. woke up one morning to a loud pop looked all around the room and finally realized it came from the fridge the temp in it was so cold a can of soda had burst and all of our items were frozen solid. If you are able to you might want to pick up one of those little styrofoam coolers and just get the ice you need for it at the hotel. They arent that expensive and can just be left at the hotel on your departure.

You can get a gallon of milk in them plus a few other things. These are bigger than the little ones they use to rent. The booze is much cheaper offsite too.

Those are bigger than I thought. I was thinking it was the little one like I have in my classroom. But DEFINITELY watch the temperature. They can get REALLY cold if you put them on the coldest setting. I have also done the ice chest thing. It works, but hauling that thing back to the room full of ice is a pain! I'm glad they got the fridges.

Our experience was the other way around, the fridge never seemed to go below the room temp, even after it was "adjusted" by maint. It wasn't a big enough problem for us to complain to the front desk any further, but they should at least leave the temp installed.
